This is the phrase that I refer to...

"It's all about the money! If I was a Pastor at a church and my family's wellness depended on my income, I too would go after the Mormons. I would twist their words and search for anything that could be controversial. I would do everything in my power to convince my people that they are an evil cult. Why would I ever agree with anything they say if that meant I would loose Tithing?"

i think it depends on the type if church and the location the church is in. as well as the type of people attending.

some churches talk as if you have to buy your way in to heaven and some say only by the grace of God will you get in.

I have been to many different kinds of churches
I am a Christian.

I am a Christian Preacher and I have never taken one penny from my Church or any Church I was visiting.
The Church needs money to pay gas, electric and phone bills.
A really large Church needs money to pay lot attendants, teachers, day care and so on.
