I Corinthians 12:4-11
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing but that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines."
Observe that the word "spirit" appears in singular and in plural, which tells me the existence of spiritual world.
All religions are right, according to the verse above. Would you please give up on trying to convert others?

Ilovekaraoke, you say that it is a matter of interpretation and "we have many different religions with differing views on the same thing", and that's exactly what I meant... so I don't know if you agree with me or not.

Janet you think as I do, yes this is correct, especially because God said that to me, that He is in all the Churches -religions.
You can receive as many or all these gifts if God chooses you to have them all, but the same spirit.
I don't try to change anyone, just to let them know that there is a God- and Jesus.
What I ascertain through the years is truly you don't need to be in a religion to know and connect with God, basically it's what's in your heart.

You are obviously wanting this verse to prove a point that has nothing to do with what you are trying to prove. This verse says nothing about religions or differences between them being of the same God. This passage of scripture is speaking of Spiritual Gifts given to people when they get saved. This is not saying that all religions come from the same God and that they are all good. If all religions came from the same God then their wouldn't be different belief structures and doctrines, or religious guide books like the Bible, koran, book of mormon there would only be one. which there is only one true one the BIBLE.
There is a Spirit world but that doesn't mean that all religions are the same. They are all different and not of the same God. Allah is not God(muslim), we are not the God of our own universe(mormon), we can only fall at the feet of Jesus Christ and beg for his forgiveness so that we can be saved and have everlasting life.
Jesus said that he is " the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" John 14:6
So that means that there is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus and no other religions follow the teachings of Jesus. And if Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE then no one else is not Buddha, not Muhammad, not Harri Krishna, and certainly we're not.
You are not going to find a verse in the Bible that proves that other religions are true, because they aren't.

No, all religions are not right, nor are they all wrong. It is in the interpretation that people will differ. If EVERYTHING were read the same, we would not have all the different religions that we do. We'd be under one huge tent.
Its like this old analogy
all Whites are rich
Albert is White
therefore: Albert is rich
That is not true. Its based on flawed logic. Just as your questions is based on flawed logic. Your logic is that everyone interprets that verse the same way. They don't. simple as that. Thus we have many different religions with differing views on the same thing.

I'd like to say those movements at their core, innermost spoke of a similar reality and the founders wrote scripture illustrating the fabric of mans mind and being, since ALL religions, be it Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and even Buddhism at their core is about knowing thy self, as the Greeks uttered or as the Gnostics uttered. This self they would know is their authentic soul self which is not of this world, a being of pure light and intellect within a reality independent within itself from the kingdom of man, of which is a emanation of being. If it is entering the inner kingdom as spoken by Yeshua, if it is traveling by night to the inner mosque within Mecca (which all true Muslims must enter the holy Mecca within in their life) by Mohammad, entering Nirvana as spoken by Buddha, or entering the Promise land - it is all the same and represents the harmony and completion of mind necessary to be born into the being the of pure light.
But I would not say all ways are the same, they may have immersed from a single source, but they relate to different means, some like the pagan paths are more so earth based mystery religions which work on the lower earthly kingdoms of consciousness of which they have a closeness to that many could not even imagine, their inner core does at least. I would say you should read the Nazirene Gospel its better than the bible and all scripture is allegory.

All religions ARE right, to each of us individually. Mine's right, yours' is right, etc. I don't try to convert, just give answers according to my teachings which come from the word of God. If it says, "No man cometh to the Father but by me", that is what I believe. Others' interpretation is their own business and through the grace and mercy of God, hopefully some of us will meet in Heaven and finally know and recognize our fellow Christians! And to those who do not like us quoting scripture? Toooo bad. Then don't quote any of your sources anymore.

I understand what you are trying to say but from God's point of view there are NO religions. He is dealing directly with a persons spirit soul and conscience. Jesus is definitely the WAY but even Jesus is Spirit being a member of the Godhead. God TESTS EVERYONE'S spirit soul and conscience with the Spirit of Jesus to to verify where their true allegiance lies God can do this even if they have never HEARD of Jesus orally.

How can all religions be right when so many of them teach conflicting things? At Matt. 7:21, Jesus says: "NOT everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will."

Being right, of L/R, to make others wrong, is Deadly;
Biblically it's as deadly as being wrong(left, desolate).
POINT: win a sides war as deadly as lose a sides war.
Grace neither makes nor takes sides, have side effects.
A notable side effect of any and every sides war is death.
Being right of blame game also inducts into hall of shame.
Above Right of L/R on high, it's all right and no left(behind).
The Spirit of error leads all it's followers to destruction.
Law vs Law is as Loser vs Loser every way looked at.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

First off, you're twisting the words of Paul of Tarsus.
Second, anyone who claims they have all the answers is a lunatic and a danger to themselves and others.
Third, The Church of the SubGenius is the only true end of the world cult.
You'll all burn in a slackless hell if you don't let J.R. "Bob" Dobbs into your mind! Get baptized in the name of "Bob"! Trade in your old sins for new ones!
Repent! Quit Your Job! Slack Off!
