I'm a Christian. I just wanted to know what persuaded some of you to turn to Him and what keeps you going in His love and in the faith. I know for me, He's constantly showing me His love and I don't want anything different. I've known so much of Him lately that I don't want anything less, only more! I don't think, I KNOW I can't, stand without His love and Presence ever abiding with me. Granted, I'm not perfect. He has to chastize sometimes, but that's fine. It only causes me to grow and experience more of His love!! It's great. He's so wonderful and amazing.

As a Christian why do I continue to follow the Lord Jesus Christ? Great question.
It's easy to be a Christian when times are good. To continue to thank God for the blessings that he has bestowed upon our families and the prosperity that he has given to his faithful. The tough times come in the shadows of God's glory. The loss of a child, a divorce, the loss of a job, the loss of a home due to natural disasters. Those are the times when a person's faith is truly tested. Will you choose to blame God for your suffering, or run to him in worship, drop to your knee, and cry out for his mercy, his love and his undying comfort. I love God through it all. When my faith is tested when I feel that the Lord God does not hear my prayers I pray harder. When I feel he does not hear my song's of worship I sing louder. When I feel he does not love me, I love him more......The Lord God wants us all the time. In good times and in bad times....I love him....he is my strength. He is my compass of moral guidance in a world that has been overcome with moral decay. I will always lean on him, and he will always be there, even in the darkest moments, when I feel that I am alone, I am not....for he is always with me.
The Lord God is my Shepard.

There is such a thing that when you share with others the love the Lord gave you, then He give you more and more. To love God is to observe His commandments so that we could not stumble in some way and come to harm. We can not say that we love God if we don't love our brothers.

He gives me hope. He gives strength. He gives me protection.He gives me guidance. He is Light, Love, Kindness, Gentleness and God. He is Holy, Righteous, Mighty, Powerful,and Pure. His ways are right, he is my Savior! He lifts me up when I am feeling down. He answers my prayers.He lets me know when I am on the wrong path or when I said or done something not in his will, I ask for forgiveness and he forgives. He is my comfort! He is my Lord! and he rules my life! I serve him of my own free will. I praise his Holy name! Jesus!

I've asked myself this question and I still haven't come up with a perfect answer. I assume that the God who answered my prayer (verbally) and divinely intervened in my life was Jesus. I have no proof, just trust (faith).
