I am going to UK for university. Currently I live in Hong Kong but I hold an EU British passport, which states that I am a "British Citizen". Please help, really urgent!

if you are a British citizen, no you do not need a visa ,
being a citizen of the UK, gives you the right to go there any time,
i have dual citizenship, and i go to either country anytime, and no visa, that is what being a citizen is for.
it is your country too, even if you were born elsewhere, as long as you are a citizen.

The best thing to do would be to visit the British High Com. in Hong Kong or give them a call. If you are a British Citizen, you will not need a visa to visit UK

Why would you need a visa to go to a country you are a citizen of? Visas are for tourists who stay longer then what is considered just visiting, immigrants, and in some cases .. non-immigrants wanting to work, live temporally, or study in the UK.

No! I don't think that a British Passport holder needs a visa to visit here.

If you don't have legal authority to live in England; aka you weren't born there, or you don't have secondary citizenship, than it is contrite for you to apply for a "student visa"; you can do this at any English Embassy.

Like Briton needs another immigrant to keep an eye on....

IF you were half as smart as you sound you can get degrees on-line much cheaper.

I don't think so...but visas depend on how long you will be staying.
