The mother of a friend of mine used to say "All is well" as a sort of catch phrase while she had cancer. Now she has died and my friend would like it as a plaque but thought it would be nice in Latin so she has asked if I can find out how it translates to English. Thanks to all those who have helped so far.

Omne bene (est)
or
Omnis bene (est)
or also
Omnia bene (sunt)

Here the context would be helpful, as there is one word "prosit" which is used as a toast in several European countries. It comes from prodesse, which means "to be useful, be advantageous, benefit, profit", but this is the subjunctive form, so it really means: "May all be well!".

Otherwise, "omnia bene sunt" is a translation of "all is well, i.e. "all things are well".

"Totus est puteus" is WRONG. "puteus" means a well, as in a hole in the ground!!! LMAO!! ROFLMFAO!!

Just shows you those mechanical translation sites CANNOT be trusted! Only a human mind can translate correctly.

"Omnia bene" (sunt). I would say simply "Omnia bene"; the verb to be is often omitted in Latin.
