i went to training for one day and didnt like it. Training was paid. I didnt go back after the first night because I got a job offer paying more with better great hours. Am i still entitled to my one day of pay for training?

They failed to give me infomation prior to be starting... It was a temporary assignment and they failed to tell me that I would have a quota. I would have never taken the job if I known that.....

It isn't worth it. You didn't call back or give notice and you didn't seem to understand or find out enough about the job before going to training. I would write it off as a bad experience. However by law they are required to pay you at their next scheduled payroll.

You should be able to get it. If you have any problems you can always check with your local wage and hour board. Training supposed to be paid don't see problem in you getting it. After training you said you had quota that would not be required to be paid to you if you didn't meet your quota

Mostly likely yes.. It depends on what your employment contract says. Is it worth going back there? Second you need to be careful about burning bridges. It may already be on fire with the previous employer but why throw gas on it.

You may be, but it would be poor manners to insist on it. You've already made yourself look bad in that employer's eyes. Insisting on getting paid for that time would be even worse.

yes absolutely your are you didn't work there day for free, it may not be a whole lot of money but hey money is money, you went to there training to be employed but there company, so yes girl go and get your paycheck.
