Frankly, I think they should all cheat. Yes, I believe they should throw away all the templates, tape measures, etc. NASCAR is so inbred that it thinks this is a "team" sport. What team? Does anyone cheer for the front tire changer on Juniors crew? For the public it was, and always has been about the "car", the brand, and then about the driver. The fan loved knowing it was a Pontiac that won, or a Ford, not that the "team" did well. Who gave a d#&m about that? Now that we have socialism in car racing whats next? The car is the idol, and then the driver. Making everybody "equal" is like watching a carousel. It boils down to luck, not who brought 890 hp to the track versus the other guys with only 730 hp. Fans wanna see the best car lap the field!!

There a couple different methods to "Cheating". One is to break a rule that strictly forbids something being done. The second is something the rulebook does not cover, or known as the gray area. I think all teams are doing their best to stay away from the first one. But the second one, teams are trying to stretch this as best they can. Many teams feel if your not stretching it to the edge, your not trying. Last year was a good example. HMS had a modified part on the car. It did lead to some advantage, but there was no rule against it. Nascar later created a rule preventing it from occurring again. There was points and $$$ loss, but not directly related to that part. So I think all the top teams do some cheating,, mostly the second. If they are not, are they as competitive as the team next to them?

A driver cant cheat, unless he works on his own car, or is out wrecking people. A crew chief is the main person that would be caught cheating in Nascar, and I think your man Johnson has the dirtiest crew chief in the game, and his history would back that statement up. If you dont like it maybe you should go find a sport that you understand.

Did you miss your nap or something??? You sound like the cry baby to me....
Just becuase a crew chief has been caught cheating MORE THAN ONCE THIS YEAR doesn't make the driver a cheater. The crew chief and the crew cheated, not the driver. the poor driver just wants to race the car....

They say cheating is only cheating if you get caught. I think every team "pushes the limits" in one way or another. If they get caught, they pay the penalty. Why such a rant on cry babies, when it appears that you are among them. A lot of people will "cry" when another team does better than their's, but HMS puts more time and money into their team, and therefore, often has the advantage. That's racing.

I believe the entire 48 team has been busted enough times for rule infractions to justify the term "cheaters" when talking about them.

All I want to know is since when is a yellow not thrown for a car blowing a tire and hitting the wall. Since when is a caution not thrown when a car's engine blows? Oh yeah when Hendricks is leading. And for all those that say there was no debris after the contact with the wall, Is the COT magic?? does it pick up it's own pieces? COT we leave no debris.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the first thing taught at Hendrick racing.
Unfortunately the best drivers (yes Gordon and Johnson) do race with Hendrick and if they raced with any other team they would be my top drivers, but the corrupt politics at Hendrick is the reason they are not the favorites of everyone.
And little sister I have followed racing for more than 40 years and these two are good drivers but are not the best.So as for picking a new sport, you are the one that needs too as you have not studied the sport.
