I mean, that's a lot of resting when you think about it. Humans have, for thousands of years, had to work all seven days scrounging food, slaving to build pyramids, fighting wars, raising families, you know, stuff.

Shouldn't god have got up off the couch and done something meaningful on the seventh day?

It wasn't that God grew weary, God made the Sabbath for man. In the law it said men should work 6 days and rest the 7th.

Let's see you do what He has done. You probably work 5 days a week, then take two off. How weak and flimsy is that?

Thats a nice one.. I tend to think still further that why did god ve to take food to keep him alive and had to sleep to refresh himself or have a rest... It seems all undivine....
