Rev. Albert Einstein: surviving desert life and surviving the flood are sort of on different ends of the spectrum. we are thinking "mega water" here, not "any and all extreme conditions".

For the same reason that when forested areas flood now days it doesn't kill all the trees or seedlings or render the seeds infertile. Plant life will grow up through any number of catastrophic situations...you ever visit Mt. St. Helens or the Hawaiian Islands...yeah, volcanic ash and massive heat can cover a landscape but given 15, 20 or 50 years you have reforested vistas or lush jungle. For the same reason...why would they have survived an ice age...ever see a pine tree growing on top of a glacier...no they grow in the paths of them...Love in Christ, ~J~

Most likely due to the extreme pressure on the ocean floor, most if not all seeds would be crushed. The same thing would happen in a global flood, a majority if not all plant life would have been crushed and totally destroyed.

I think my favorite part of the Noah story is how Noah got drunk afterwards, and then cursed his kid's decendants for laughing at him...oh, good times!

I don't see them in the desert either sweetheart...neither are they on the North pole.

If you are trying to disprove the flood you are doing a miserable job.
