dream details: in this dream I am escorted to this pool area with my oldest brother, he shows me where everyone is. when i get to this pool area all the swimmers are dressed in all white swimsuits or beach gear. there are lots of pools too, can't remeber the exact number but at least 5. they landscaping is beautiful. my brother begans to tell me what each pool is made or used for (i.e 'this is an olympic sized pool, it has 3 lanes, etc) Then as i look more closely all the pools except one, are extremely dirty. i keep asking, 'why hasn't anyone cleaned the water?' there is one pool that is in use and NOT dirty, it is a jucuzzi, lots of people are in this one. they have cameras, and keep asking to take pictures of me. The people at the pool are all gay (both man and female). they start trying to run up and take pictures with me but i am uncomfortable. i keep saying this area is beautiful but dirty, while they keep tryin to take pictures....then i wake up. HELP?!

I am NOT nor have I ever been gay or struggled with that issue, so NO that is not it!! I am also not homophobic, i love all unconditionally without hatred or judgment!! so don't send me hate mail
btw, I am a Christian woman who takes dream interpretation very seriously, most of my dreams i instantly understand, but this one i don't quite get. If you have to says something about this dream that might be taken as controversial feel free to email the interpretation to me. thanks

In this, God has showed me that dreams are layered and complex. there isn't just one mystery to be revealed in them. The pools represent believer training themselves or learning how to exercise their authority above life circumstances. Water can represent issues of the world. But the reason the water is dirty is because believers faith is contaminated and polluted with the things of the world. Sounds to me like you are confronting a major decision in your life spirtiually - perhaps you feel as if you are literally in your life "swimming in dirty water". I get the idea that the homosexuality in this dream would be more a representative of " these times" than a literal interpretation of the this type sexuality. A symbol of what you truly feel in your heart is "whats wrong with this world". The camera tells you to look inside of your self for answers -in other words you already know what you should do about this problem.

Water in dreams is often associated with the subconscious mind. I am tempted to be cliche and say you have a dirty mind, lol.
I have two minds on this dream:
One interpretation would say that you keep your external evironment "beautiful". You do not give the same attention to your internal environment. The only internal environment that you keep clean is the one that you share with others.
The other interpretation would say that you may be experiencing some cognitive dissonance with your views about homosexuality. "Beautiful but dirty". more specifically, beautiful on the surface, but ultimately polluted.
The cameras..it depends. For me, having my pic taken in a dream is about being exposed. For you it may be different.
