Yes, you can be a cabin crewmember. No company in the U.S. may discriminate against you for an appearance item such as a scar. If it came to be known that you were not hired for that reason then you would have grounds for a discrimination lawsuit.

Anyone can "apply" for any job.

I think you should have asked if you'd be hired.
