It's all about free will.

God's gift of free will is a double-edged sword. He gives us the ability to do and say whatever we want. In order for free will to have purpose, we also have to be exposed to the temptations of the world. This, of course, makes deciding between right and wrong significant.

Free will DOES come with a price (everything does). With free will, we must accept responsibility for our actions and our words.

As we grow and strengthen in the spirit, we learn that we can protect ourselves from temptation by placing our faith and our trust into the love and mercy of the one true God. This isn't an easy thing to do. While we are "young in the spirit" we are still strongly tempted by the world, and not totally secure in our faith. Surrendering our will is next to impossible as we're still too strongly connected to the world and its temptations.

Rejoice in and study the Word of God.

Grow and strengthen in fellowship with other faithful.

Pray. There's tremendous power in prayer. Pray for understanding and growth. Pray that others may open their hearts and their minds to the love and mercy of the one true God and enter into the covenant of the New Testament.

God bless you.

There are two forces in the Spiritual world, do not confuse one with the other. God does not tempt anyone, God is Holy and good, anything that appears otherwise, is not from God.
God does help us grow spiritually, he allows us to stumble and then helps us up onto our feet. Our accuser is satan, he is the one who mocks you, he laughs at your failures and brings trouble your way. God gives believers a Spirit of discernment to know and test all occurences in our lives and the lives of others, to know what is from God and what is not.
I believe you are confused as to which spirit torments you.
God knows we are full of doubt and He never turns His head away, He never leaves or forsakes us. It is when we move away from God, enticed by our own selfish desires, this is when we find ourselves struggling, this is when God allows our faith to be tested. If you look deep within your heart you will find God right there where He has always promised to be.
Sweep aside your selfishness and sin and you will see Him more clearly. We are all guilty of sin and indifference to God, sometimes God can use this to cause us to consider our relationship with Him more closely. God is Love and God is Forgiving, any thoughts you have contrary to these thoughts, is not from God....God Bless You...Peace.

Jesus does not make it hard for us to trust in Him. We do that ourselves. All we have to do is turn with trust to Gods mercy. When Jesus apeared to Sr.Faustina Kowalska on February 22 ,1931 He said "Speak to the world about my mercy.Let all mankind recognise My unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times, after it will come the day of justice. While there is still time let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy .Let them profit from the Blood and Water which gushed forth for them. Before I come as just Judge,I first open wide the doors of My mercy. He who refuses to pass through the doors of My mercy must pass through the doors of My Justice."
