Being only 24, I've still a lost left to learn yet, but some of my life lessons are as follows:
Embrace life in all things, be it negative or positive.
The is no warmer place than the Lord's embrace.
Don't invest in anything that isn't worth my time (A little harsh, but true)
A "Hi" today may land you a friend tomorrow.
Don't waste words. Say those things that are worth saying.
Be present minded. The Past is gone and can't be helped and the Future is yet to happen.

I've learned to stop and smell the roses, enjoy sunsets and sunrises. I've learned not to take things too seriously. The Dash Poem I read of a man who stood to speak, at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on this tombstone from beginning ….to the end. He noted that first came his date of birth and spoke the following with tears. But he said what mattered most of all, was the dash in between those years. For the dash represents, all the time he spent alive on earth. And how only those who loved him know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own; the cars, the house, the cash, what matters most is how we live and love and how we spend our dash… So think about this long and hard. Are there things you’d like to change? For you never know how much time is left, that can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough, to consider what is true and real. And always try to understand, the way other people feel. And be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more, and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, and more often wear a smile… Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So, when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash would you be proud of the things they say and how your spent your dash? by Linda Ellis

I think the most important thing I've learned in my 66 years is that there are few things in life that cannot be overcome.
It may take professional help--in the case of health issues and such--and it may take patience and hard work. It may take discipline. It may take facing our problems, knuckling down and resolving them, but we can survive and prosper.
We never stop learning--which supports what you say about learning everything--and we never stop growing.
Finally, as much as we might like to live forever, we won't. We have a limited amount of time to accomplish the things we want to do and time goes by far more quickly when you are older.
If we want to travel, write books, climb mountains, we must get after it while we can and while we have the time.

I acknowledged that I am a sinner over 7 years ago......and Christ called me into His saving grace.
That was the most important life lesson I have ever learned....
That we are ALL sinners in need of Christ

Never sweat the small stuff. In the grand scheme of things, unless it involves loss of life, loss of support (income), or serious illness, it's *all* small stuff. Life's too short to worry about the little things.

To listen more and talk less. There are hurting people out in the world, and they need the comfort of others, to just 'hear' what they have to say.
