Well the flood was way before Christ so there were no Christians around.
I think the Flood destroying everything just shows that God means what he says. You can't make excuses and think well I ain't so bad, this isn't so wrong. God is God and I imagine he means what he says.
That is why the road is narrow to heaven and WIDE to death.

The Bible says that"the badness of man was abundant in the earth and every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time."(Genesis6:4,5) Sothere were no innocents killed, the innocents were kept safe
in the arc and they were saved from the flood.Yes God did just punish the sinners he commissioned Noah and his family to warn the wicked about the coming Flood, but they all just laughed and mocked them saying it would never happen, today things are just the same, God has commissioned his people to tell others of the coming destruction of our time the end of the world of mankind, but people laugh, and mock now too, saying it will not happen in our day, and they don't take note just like at the time of the flood people did not take note until the Flood came and swept them all away(Matthew24:36-39)

He saved 2 of each animal. once you kill and animal it is no longer homicide. you're going out on a limb to be lame approximately this. the persons have been fallen angels that had created a race of giants that have been section demons so as that they weren't commonplace human beings. You misunderstand on purpose on account which you have an awl to grind. i understand you already know the actual solutions yet you prefer to reason a hullabaloo on account which you prefer to combat. perhaps you're a troll?

Apart from the fact it is a myth....
Bible-believers believe that humans are a collective. Hence the concept of collective punishment via genocide.
Back in real life, the fact that many people die in wars or natural disasters is seized upon as 'evidence' of an angry punishing 'God.' It's backwards yeah...but what can you do?
They are taught not to question their ruler's benevolence in punishing the unbelievers, it is the crux of the faith. Similar to Communist or Fascist rule. Free-thinking or disobedience is a great crime of pride and punishable by death.

Yeah, another fine example of the old testament god throwing a temper tantrum. Cheer up, though. This never really happened (as can be seen by no evidence of a worldwide flood anytime in earth's history). But your take on the story is why I believe Christians should observe the words written in red text and leave the rest behind. The world would be a much better place.

Well no one is innocent in God's eyes. We all have a sinful nature instilled in us when we are born. It is called the "curse of Adam." "Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned: for until the law sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed when there is no law. (Romans 5:12-13) So therefore when Adam sinned sin entered the world and everyone after that has Adam's sin on his head which is how a newborn baby is able to die. But one thing you need to remember is that our standards for living is greatly different than God's standards. God standards are much higher and where you may see someone as innocent they have stilled broken God's laws and that may not seem to be a big deal to you but it is a big deal to God.

I think that an all powerful god would be able to make the sinners drop dead, instead of making everyone except the one family and a select few animals die. You know that some of the women were pregnant, therefore their deaths were a form of abortion to the fetus. I thought christians believe that one is innocent en utero.

There was no actual flood. It's "allegory" & "mystery";
Biblical allegoric mystery: mystery to solve "in time",
lest all perish by law instead of none perish by grace.
Science: only thing common to man ww is legend of a flood.
Science: there's no evidence of a ww flood; never happened
Bible: it's allegory & mystery, written aforetime for "learning".
Albert Einstein:
"Science without religion is lame.
Religion without science is blind."
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No need to go back so far. Just examine the Boxing Day tsunami. Did all those drowned men, women and children deserve it?
Either this deity cares nothing for human suffering, or he doesn't exist.

They will say "god knew they would turn bad so he had to destroy them."
This means god is omniscient and therefore any argument against predestination is no longer valid.
