Leo, a 16 yr old boy is awakened by a loud smashing of the chinaware which his father threw hard on the floor. This has become a daily routine for Leo and he has grown accustomed to it. His father usually gets drunk even in the mornings and comes home angry at everybody. Loud exchange between his father and mother would normally follow after a plate or 2 have been broken. He'd become traumatized, even if he didn't realize. Children who grow up with that become..different from others who were privileged. He'd either become like his father, all violent because that's all he knew, or he'd really be against it, depending on his views.

i think that poor kid is beside himself. how sad. at that age, one is in the middle. to young to do anything about it and to old to not know whats going on.i'd bet he keeps it all to himself as well for fear of embarrassment. i hope he realizes, that there is nothing to be embarrassed about. he didn't cause this and it doesn't reflect on him. maybe he'll realize also, that he needs to speak to someone about it. a counselor, other relative, or clergy.
