I downloaded The complete setup, but for some reason Open Office has no equivalint to MS Publisher.
What do people think of Software 602 as an alternative.
I am not sure if they have a Publisher program?

Open Office cannot open .PUB files.

It does have an adequate alternative that has the same write/draw/layout properties though....OpenOffice Draw.

I'm not sure about Software 602....But I use Scribus [which is also open source....go copyleftism!] and I love it....I actually moved from Adobe InDesign to Scribus about a year ago and have had a very smooth transition.

No, Open Office doesn't have a Desk Top Publisher (DTP) module.
Software 602 doesn't do DTP either.

Check out Serif's DTP, at:
