I prefer yard eggs (brown shelled eggs) but also like the white shelled eggs.
I learned from Alton Brown's program on The Food Network that the difference between the brown and white shells has to do with how much calcium the chickens are being fed. If there is a lot of calcium in their diet it will turn the shell white.

Definitely the brown ones. They have a harder shell and, I think, and are much more flavorful than white eggs. They usually are slightly larger than white eggs. Brown eggs are fuller bodied, so that when you cook the eggs or use them for baking, they stay together well and are not so runny.
I am including more information than you want, but I thought you might be interested nontheless.

***--Rhode Island Reds are a dual purpose, large heavy chicken breed with plumage that is a deep burgundy/ chestnut. They are excellent layers of mid brown eggs.

Yep. It's our State Bird!

Brown is little better because it is always from grade A chickens (which they claimed as great in nutrition and free from sickness, guaranteed!).Just compare the shell. It must be nicer than white. The QUANTITY is also a little more than white. Anyway, white is usually cheaper than brown so that is the trade-off. They both sources for protein. So no matter brown or white, they both good to consume.

I prefer white, because I hate seeing bits of poo and feathers stuck to my eggs, but I can only buy white in the USA or at the farmers market that comes a couple of times a year.

brown eggs are yours? I feel white eggs are good. But you should have it in a proper time. like.. take the egg break it and directly put that in you mouth.. this you must do it in the early morning. night you can mix that with milk.. etc.. thnk and do.. or let me know what you expect here,
