refrigerator problem?

ok we got a used fridge/freezer at first it worked fine then freezer started defrosting next day it was freezing again. this time freezer was defrosting and refrigerator stopped cooling it started blowing out hot air any clue why?

free on someone around here told me about that what is free-on how do i check that? where can i buy it?

Being low on freeon could also possibly cause this problem. I would also recommend calling the company that makes your brand to see what they think.

may be a problem with a defrost timer.
