This video shows all who did and got punished for it, as he had promised, until now. The name is "Yesh Din Veyesh Dayan" - There is a judge and there is judgement, meaning that there is a judge who punishes people for their wrongdoings.

Now Olmert gave the arabs a part of Hevron; one of the holy cities of Israel. He too will be punished severely for doing so, and so will the rest of our left-winger government!

Brandon: You're right! Israel should just stop fighting and let the arabs slaughter all of the Jews freely, without us even trying to defend ourselves! That way they can be through with the Jews and move on to destroying the rest of the world!

What are you an idiot?! Open up your damn eyes! If you want this all to end then stop blaming us Jews and Israelis for defending ourselves and start blaming the arabs for attacking us whenever they get the chance. It's called the Israeli DEFENSE Force, not the Israeli Attack Force (IDF, not IAF, which happens to be the Israeli Air Force =D).

Yes, it makes us all sick that we're fighting (oh, and btw, we're not brothers; Israel is Israel and the arabs are not), but it's either that or just give ourselves up like wimps. We know we're going to end it eventually, or else we would have quit a looong time ago...

What religion are you anyways, if not Christian Muslim or Jewish???

Ok because it would take much longer that way, I'm not going to single these new details to anyone in particluar, but to everyone as a whole.

First of all, you can't say that the Rebbe should have been in Israel in order to say what he did, because what the hell do you think military generals do?! They don't go down to the battlefield; they give the orders and have only gained their position because of their good military strategies skill. Of course, that's not to say that the Rebbe just sat there all day giving orders and telling the Jews what to do, and cursing people randomly for being bad!

The Rebbe sat entire days sometimes giving blessings to people, including dollars to go to charity, and helping them out. There are literally thousands of stories of people who were in the worse-possible situations, and the Rebbe helped them. This includes miraculous stories of him saving the lives of babies who were doomed to die early, and many other such things. (cont. )

Many of you ask, who was this Rebbe to give such curses to people who try to bring peace to the land?

This Rebbe is the Mashiach/Messiah who will bring all of the nation of Israel out of golus in the very near future. He was (and still is) a very holy man who was the greatest Tzaddik of all time, some people even say that he was greater than Moses (and that he was/is the reincarnation of Moses, actually, but lets not get into that).

Tzaddikim such as the Rebbe who lead our generations have gained the right to curse people in any way they want the second that they gain the title of Tzadik. This is because they only curse those worthy of being cursed.

It says it very plainly and clearly in the Torah, and has been taught thousands of times throughout the generations: ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE JEWS! YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE ANY OF THE LAND OF ISRAEL AWAY TO ANYONE!!! (basically; not the exact words)

By giving land to the arabs is NOT BRINGING PEACE! THEY USE THE LAND TO BUILD MORE MILITARY BASES SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE AN UPCLOSE-MISSLE-SHOT AT THE REST OF OUR CITIES, SO THAT THEY CAN BETTER AND QUICKER DESTROY US!!!!

Oh, but of course! How could I have been so stupid?! Giving them land will eventually lead to the fall of the state of Israel, which will bring peace to the middle east because then there's no one left to attack, right? WRONG! THEY'LL JUST GO TO THE REST OF THE WORLD!

You're all complete idiots! Israel is not made up of wimps who want to just give up and give arabs our land without a fight, even though a small percentage of it is.

You think I WANT all of this blood and violence?! You think the Rebbe said that these people will be cursed because he WANTS more war?! NO!
He knows that the land of Israel belongs to the Jews, and that G-d wills us to keep every single part of it! He knows that G-d will help us defend it if we try, rather than just vie up!

2007-09-10 11:43:09 · update #4

Why just give the arabs land in order to allow them to destroy us more easily?? If we're going to let them kill us all, then we might as well take as many of THEM as we can with us! IT'S NOT FRICKING CAUSING ANY MORE BLOOD AND VIOLENCE! IT'LL JUST BE WORSE THAN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HAD WE DEFENDED IT! If we just let the arabs have all the land they want, they'll eventually kill every single Israel/Jew living in Israel, then move on to the rest of the world. If we defend the land, then we'll just reduce the amount of Jews that will be killed, and make it the same amount it would have been, but with arabs counted.

Oh, but who cares about the Israelis and Jews that would be killed, right? It's only considered violence if it's ISRAEL killing the arabs, right?

You people all make me sick! Is there no Israeli here that's actually realizing the truth, who ISN'T for giving up without a fight as we have been told not to do???

2007-09-10 11:48:08 · update #5

I beg of you all to realize the truth and repent and join the "good guys" before it is too late. The Mashiach is coming and you will all be punished unless you do so now. Now's the right time to do it too, being that it's Rosh Hashana and everytying....

To first reply to a comment that truly bothered me:

The Ultra-Orthodox movement do more for the Army than most people apperantly know.

It is ignorant to think that Ultra-Orthodox do not serve in the army at all either. They serve under some of the most important yechidot in the army.

There are even special units in the army (I.E. Nachal Charidi, Giva'aty Charidi) just for the religious people so they can have an easier time with their more religious society.

Besides the ones that arnt actually in combat, many religious Rabbies serve crutial jobs in the Modi'in, many of them are also Medics, Doctors, and such jobs that deal with the dead, and buriel of the fallen soldiers.

And apart from those jobs, those chasidim who are in the Yeshivot never miss the opprotunity to go to the bases all over Israel and serve the soldiers food, put on tefilin with them, and help bring up their spirits. Its as if you say that the Lehakot Tzvaiyot dont do anything, they have a crutial role, just like everyone else in the army has. It is better for the army to give the Ultra-Orthodox the random jobs in which they can excel and do well in, rather then give them jobs which will slow down the process of the army.

And for the other subject:

Last of all. I feel it incorrect to have posted such a video of such a holy man, saying such things, because people, as seen here, take it completely the wrong way. What the Rebbe did over there was not meant for the entire world to see, he was giving a warning to the Israeli government that if they continue doing stuff that hurts the Israeli and Jewish people, only to benefit a different nation, those same people will suffer in return, because it is considered a sin. He was not dooming anyone, only told them that they might doom themselves, because G-d watches over his people, and whoever might try and hurt them.

The whole conflict is sad, and depressing, but it will never stop as long as the Palistinian parents will continue brain washing and giving propeganda to their young. People say that Israel is just as bad, and through certain perspectives it can be looked like that, but we must see the truth. Israel has many mosques and churches in its land, you will never in the world find one synagog or church in any arab land.

I am not accusing them of anything, I am just saying that it is unfair to go and say that Jews and Israel is a certain way, when they arnt. I only hope that we can have peace with our Arab neibors, but we tryed, and it havnt worked. Barack even offered the Arabs 97% of all of the land, but Arafat refused and said he wanted the Jews out of here, and gone, and the entire country to himself.

What the Rebbe was saying that giving those people stuff just for gain, and loss for the Israeli's will always be a bad idea, never would such a holy man doom so many, especially from his own people.

I just hope all of this conflict can end, so we can all live in peace, but this cant happen until people start seeing the truth, and realize that Israeli is not the enemy, but the Terrorist groups and extremist groups are.

Well can't a religious person like your Rebbe think of anything else to do better than cursing people. Isn't a man of God supposed to be a messenger of mercy not of doom?

What a shame.

And then you wonder why do people hate jews... simply becasue peolpe like you and your Rebbe give a bad example. If this is your attitude against your own people... I only pity the poor Palestinians whose ill fate put them under the control of merciless people like you and your kin. And after what you said you'll have the audacity to call the Arabs terrorists!

So how many more people have to die on both sides to make your prophecies come true? How much more innocent blood must be shed to satisfy your hunger and grudge? For how much longer must the war continue for that myth of the promised land you so blindly believe in?

Its a shame that religion is used in such a dirty way.

To decent guys around here: How can I thumb down a question?

Edit: What is this nonsense. God only decides who dies and when, who do you think this Rebbe of yours is to defy God and change the prescribed time of death. If he has so much power shouldn't he be cursing your enemies and just spare you the trouble of fighting them instead of cursing the people who are trying to establish peace.

I have a theory about religious leaders and the holy land. If we all believe in one God and we have 3 holy books from God, why do not we let God decide who is right and who is wrong. meanwhile, we have to live our life in peace according to God laws. I think The Rebbe want to play God role on earth while violating most of God commandments.

2007-09-10 09:29:37 · answer #3 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

I think the Rebbe had the right to give his opinion, but that is it. It is up to the Israelis to decide, and no one else.

Because I do not live in Israel, I feel I do not have the right to tell Israel what to do. I do not have to look out for suicide bombers, I do not have an enemy country a few miles away, and my child is not in the army. Since it is not my butt on the line, I should shut up.

A few of the Rebbe's followers live in Israel. They can speak out. The Rebbe, however, was living in Brooklyn.

Well - who is the Rebbe to give such a warning? As a Jew I am not much impressed by the Ultra-orthodox who call for fighting for land in Israel and cause trouble with the Arabs yet refuse to serve in the military. Many of the Ultra-orthodox are a liability and a weakness for Israel and it is they who in the end will suffer for their arrogance. There is a difference between just observing the law and living the law in Judaism and I am afraid your Rebbe does not seem to understand what it means to live the law. Those settlements in Gaza were not for us (meaning Jews) to keep because we had agreed with the 1948 UN partition plan and it is are duty as Jews to keep our word. It will be God's will and not your Rebbe's will if Olmert will be punished for Hevron. What happened to Sharon (a man who lived a very long life) to be suggested that this was divine judgment on him is a failure to understand the nature of the human condition.

I wish you well, but to call for divine retribution on a fellow human being - in particular on a fellow Jew for seeking peace with Israel's Arab neighbors - is disappointing at best.

Good Luck!!!

For peace to be achieved, both Israelis and Arabs must make compromises. That's all there is to it. People like you, who get full of rage when Israel tries to take a step towards peace, are very foolish. What is it you want - another few decades of war, loss and bloodshed, on both sides?

Thank goodness, most people are decent, and realise that with enough goodwill on the part of Muslims and Jews, we can achieve peace.

Listen please, you are partly correct with what you say about the defence force, but very partly incorrect - to say the Rabbi's warned?(Let me tell you something: no man on earth knows to say what god's plan is and what will happen and any one who is arrogant enough to speak in the name of god is mistaken). that goes to all religions which I see many christians and muslims and jews talking in the name of and telling other people what they think is right but they tell it in a way of preach and instilling of fear, which only brings bad feelings, and depression, instead of helping people by kind words.
I really liked Brandon's answer he said we are all connected every one and that is the correct answer. and although his message is a bit humoristic at the end, his main Idea that there has to be peace is correct.

That's not exactly something new.

All serious religious leaders -- Jewish and Christian -- have been saying the same thing.

And we see what has happened -- from the disaster that started at Oslo through all attempts by Israel to appease the Arabs. The more you give them, the more they want.
