If you raise your budget slightly you can get a yamaha AV59 or 61 package and couple it to a Toshiba SD307E DVD, both are a good price (about £275 for tha pair) and highly rated by what Hi-Fi magazine. Plus with the Yamaha receiver you can also connect your sky ,freeview box and games console to the system.

2. ...and they won't be very reliable for that price...
3. ...and the performance will be pretty poor at that price.
Double your budget though, and you can get something that really rocks!!
