how do you smoke a pain pill, and does it work better than taking them orally?

all your answers are very helpful, especially the pain management specialist, and thank you for the compliment on me being too pretty to do this, i am not going to try to smoke them, i'm too scared anyway, as too the advise on using marijuana, no thanks! i dont use street drugs, i am in a horrible amount of pain from chronic tendinitis of the shoulder....but thank you everyone

You do not smoke them! They are designed to be taken orally, and there is no way of predicting the effects, good or bad, if you take them improperly.
Many of the newer pain medications are designed to deactivate the drug if crushed.
If they are not effective see your health care provider.

Lots of people come to be hooked on prescription medicines. Why would you suppose Republicans believe any in a different way than Democrats do about this field? Why does everything ought to be about whether you're a Democrat or a Republican? Can we now not just be individuals? Neither pot nor prescription medications is suitable to me. PPeople pick to smoke pot. Humans are given prescription after an illness or accident. They don't decide upon to end up addicted.

if they are meant to be absorbed by your stomach, intestines and such then why would you want to smoke them instead? That just sounds wasteful to me. But I guess you would crush it up and smoke it like you would smoke meth or whatever, or roll it up in a joint like another person said. I've heard of people snorting pills but never really smoking them.

Xanax arent pain pills...but those are the only known perscriptions that people smoke...ive smoked a few xanax L's...and damn those get you good..but its the weed itself that is truly magnificent.

I had a roomate in college who had a prescription for Adarall (like ritalin) and Soma, and we crushed it up and smoked it with pot. Couldn't tell the difference with it...

If you need your pain pills to work better, see your doctor for a stronger dosage or check yourself into drug rehab.....
