God always answers prayers, it's just sometimes the answer is "No".

Yes, however, 4 maybe not as much as you may be thinking, but I'm unclear as i didn't know your thoughts for that.
I like 2, it's like a 5 year old asking for a sports car, and the parents say no, God wouldn't answer that prayers, because it is for selfish reasons. 3 is a very good point, like those people that say "God, please heal me" but don't think it would ever happen. Doubt is the key factor here. All in all, your answer was good i believe

I dont think anyone can really know this one. But number 4 is a non starter. As even believers sin sometimes and hopefully only very little things, like a white lie to protect someones feelings (no dear you look fine in that). God will still answers someones prayers.

Apart from that Olivias answer above is very good.

Do you know why Santa wouldn't give you gifts?

1. Out of his will.

2. Asking for wrong intentions.

3. Not believing they will recieve.

4. Sin in life.

Aren't people with sin in their life more in need of answered prayers?

nope.
considering this scenerio .

2 twins was praying chess , both pray to god to let them win .
1st guy kept winning .

does that mean god kept answer his prayers cause he favour him?

if both were asking with wrong intentions , why did the first kept repeatedly win ?
if it's out of his will , why did the first guy win ?
if both doesnt believe or both believe , why did only the first guy win ?
it's not a sin.

so does god favour the first guy or is it the skill ?

Those are the standard reasons. Some others: not the right time yet, not enough resources available (the loaves and fishes were a MIRACLE, not an everyday occurence), the spiritual strong man stands in the way, your faith is being tested

Prayer doesn't work because you are praying to something that doesn't exist. Ask the hostages who had their heads chopped off in Iraq

yea, but i would have said he has already made a plan or each of us, and to answer a selfish prayer would interrupt our destiny in life
