There are plenty of careers with a lot of money.

Rather than think of it in such simple terms, you have to work out what you are good at, what you like and then choose the options that earn the big bucks.

Let me give you some examples. Trades people can earn good money if they have their business and work where their trade is in demand. Sales people can be high school drop outs and their ability to sell can make them rich. But not everyone can sell. Accountants are almost certain to earn good money , but not great money. Professions, such as medicne, law, dentistry earn good money, but take a long time to study and many years of long hours with poor pay.

If you want to guarantee good money. Study business, work hard and then go on to do a masters.

If you want to combine happiness with money, study something you like, eg computers, then do an MBA or other masters and get into a top role in that company. Masters are a good way to get ahead in a range of professions.

Finally, watch for the growth areas. Often high school drop outs can make big money by getting into an area that has huge growth. The last one was 3D design and animation, before that web design. When the industry was hot, people who couldn't tie their own shoelaces normally were making huge bucks.

Finally, don't obsess over money. If you choose the right area of work, you will work harder, enjoy yourself more, spend your free time learning more about your work, and if you are wise, also earn a lot of money too.

Your question should not be about what job pays the most. The highest paid individual is not even on the map. Start with what do you like to do? Do you enjoy business, sports, speaking or entertainment? Are you artistic, Musical? You determine your future first by what you want in life. What are your passions, likes, natural talents. Do you like crunching numbers? First explore what you like or think you like then start to determine a field of endeavor.
