Hey , I guess we all do. I was bought up in the strict Catholic religion but then became a member of a certain Club in my Youth that knew no knowledge of Jesus and God. I went through it and came out the other side. I know my dreams were the same then as they are now.
More compassion to my fellow Human Beings.
Better understanding of their problems.
Treat all as you wish to be treated. By the way, I am a Commercial Pilot, so I do Fly.
Help those that are disadvantaged as far as possible.
Be true to yourself and those around you.

Why on earth would you ask such a silly question? What do you think atheists are, non-human creatures from the dark side of Mars? Of course atheists dream, and no doubt we dream across the spectrum. We also eat, sleep, watch the idiot box, read, write, create, think of the environment, love our children and our pets, lament and weep, laugh, tell jokes, long for a holiday on an island somewhere, hope the USA will recover from the disasters of the corrupt Bush gang, and mow the lawn. What we do not do is believe that the invisible god of a Bronze Age tribe of murdering desert nomads exists.

Nice question. Now as an atheist I can tell you that I do in fact dream. I dream of all those things you mentioned, plus a lot more. Mostly I like to dream about terrible horrors because it is always more interesting. Why do I dream? My subconscious mind is very creative, and it feels that when I am asleep... well, that is the best time to weave its stories.

everyone dreams it's how the brain processes the information for the day. its why we need to sleep. There's nothing mysterious about dreams. Just because you don't remember dreaming doesn't mean that you haven't.

I don't remember ever dreaming that I was dying. I did dream I was spiderman once and I was bouncing around the city on a bungee rope.

Hi Girl, Sorry for responding late actually I was busy with some of my school work. Well, yes once I cried because of my dreams and woke up and hugged my dreams. Actually I felt like my head was gone and I was still alive, it was weird. My mom brings me food and in dreams I ask her, how am I going to eat mama? Isn't it going to come out of my neck and something. Then I dreamed like, the bus comes and waits to take me to school then it leaves me, I am running after the bus but I can't do anything because my head was about to fall. I woke up and touched my neck, hopefully nothing happened, god.... This was my dream. I know it happens sometimes, don't worry just chill out!!!

What the hell does religion have to do with dreaming?? Dreams are brain activity, chemical reactions just like thought. Religion does not change the way your body works. Its science!!

And as for their types of dreams, this is something different for every person, regardless of race or religion. Each dream has personal individual significance

Sure I dream. I have very vivid dreams that often stick with me long after waking. As for the why, it is just a bunch of semi-random hallucinations thrown out by a brain that is going through memories for storage and for relaxation.

Dreams are simply random firings within the brain.. A biochemical function..

Are you assuming dreams are a message from a deity?

We dream but we know when to stop dreaming and join reality again something a lot of people can't grasp, a sign of insecurity, who knows?
