I'm so skeptical about psychics. Is there anyone who had a convincing encounter with one? If so tell me your experience. Or tell me why you're like me - not believing in psychics.

I have met people who had gifts other than there 5 senses. They did not call themselves "Psychics" nor did they use their gifts to make money.
People who have these extra gifts do not show off at parties or appear on T.V.
And they don't to silly tricks to get attention!

I was at a birthday dinner, and happened to mention in conversation that when I am stressed or highly energized I feel my shoulders pull together. This lady next to me said "well that's because you're an air sign". It so happens I am an air sign - gemini. I asked her how she knew, and she said she was a professional psychic.
I believe psychics exist. But I believe there are more frauds out there. I believe I was sitting next to a real one that night though.

...these abilities do exist on different levels...much like any other gift or talent...some are better at it than others...the talent can be trained and increased with practice...I have slight abilities...but they are random ...maybe cause I've never pursued discipline in using it...but, my Dad, on the other hand, was remarkably gifted...still is, only he is quite elderly now and suffers from dementia which means his psychic gift also suffers...he has no control over it anymore and it just runs away with him sometimes...it takes a great deal of work trying to keep him in this realm, mentally...or "grounded" in his thinking, as it were...

In the Old Testament King Saul consulted a medium from Endor----and was cursed that he and his sons would die in battle.
After knowing that----I tend to stay away from Psychics Lol.

i think everyone has "psychic" abilities... maybe not in the traditional sense.. but mroe a 6th sense.. things you cant explain
i had "tarot" cards read once.... everything the lady said was pretty much true about me and even a lot of the things she told me were going to happend actually happend....i remember my freind's reading better than mine.. she told her that she would lose her virginity at 18 to a guy whos name starts with J and he works in food service... all those things ended up being true
the lady didnt know anything about us beforehand
but i think a lot of them like the 900 numbers are probably full of it.... i dont think id pay a crap load of money to go to one though

I met a real psychic ,she did not impress me .
Most of them are full of it.

I have a friend who is a medical intuitive. She does not do this professionally, but has been very accurate with what she has said for family and a few friends. She says it is a spiritual gift
