LOL
I am a Mormon in the film industry -- my partner is Jewish -- he might find this idea offencive.
When I share your question with him today he will look at me for the next couple of weeks and tell me that I better not try to take over. Or he'll sick his "goons" after me.
Actually there are more of us than you think. We just don't involve ourselved in the muck and mire of Hollywood idiots.

By "do their stuff" you mean make crap, lose money and collapse?
Seriously, New York, Canada, Hong Kong, the Japanese and Europeans would still blow you out of the water. You'd probably have to destroy every film industry better than say... Turkey... for the Mormons to "do their stuff".

No one is *stopping* the Mormon film industry from doing it's stuff . It is Just most people don't want to listen to a source that was originally considered a cult . It was started by an 'entrepreneur' who claimed an angel came and helped him translate a never displayed mystical book (tablets)from "God" which told him that the Native Americans were Jews turned red by God as punishment for not returning to the mid-east . Even people who admit to being Mormon turn red when you bring this up . LOL .

As much as I would love for Hollywood to be totally revamped, it'll never happen. And while we have some pretty good movie makers, I don't think we'll ever be able to "take on Hollywood" and quite frankly I'd wonder what they were thinking if they ever tried.

Erm... No?... Maybe Bollywood should get a few more translations and distribution agreements though...
(This has the general vibe of a joke to me, but I'm missing the punchline... Have mormons actually said this stuff?...)

Are you talking about "The Best Two Years", "God's Army", "The RM", "The Single's Ward", "Church Ball", etc.?
I enjoy those movies somewhat, but I don't think they've got a chance of replacing Hollywood's productions.

i'm conservative... and that i trust you, in the event that they're going to get on t.v., placed on stay shows and talk out appropriate to the undertaking then they could prepare what they pontificate!!! give up flying around the of their inner maximum jets and get rid of their enormous costly autos and do they actually desire properties as enormous as they have? No they do no longer, they get money and each thing is a prepare for them. purely like this undertaking.. this is not something greater suitable than an opprotunity to enhance their celebrity status. this is disgusting how they call for all of us supply up issues and that they do no longer do it themselves. And Al Gore does all this just to purpose and look like a hero or some thing... i ask your self what proportion animals died so he could slick his hair back like he does..

What for?
People enjoy going to the movies and no one wants to see a boring mormon story about magic underpants.
