I often wonder why this is the case, too. But I also believe that appearances are very deceptive. That couple with the loose morals and the big house, great jobs, and fancy cars is definitely lacking the joy of the Lord. They are also probably lacking a certain amount of real intimacy in their relationship. We really can never really know the life of another person, and what goes on behind closed doors.
I struggle every day just to make ends meet, and I am a faithful follower of Christ. But it seems to me that whenever I do not know where the money for rent is going to come from, God send just enough "pennies from Heaven" so I can get by. I wish He would allow me to get ahead, but I am very grateful that He always provides my family with our basic needs (even if it is often at the 11th hour and 59th minute).
In my case, I think the issue may be just to relax, let go and let God handle my worries. This is easier said then done.
I really don't know why so many who love the Lord struggle for the small amount they have, when those who don't even acknowledge the blessings in their lives prosper and thrive.

"The rain falls on the just and also the unjust". You are right to say, sometimes it seems that those who follow the Lord struggle the most. Read the book of Psalms to see proof of this. David was called, "a man after God's own heart" and He struggled big time. Even if men or women that do not follow Christ seem to be prospering, there will come a time when everything will be made right. Rewards for godly men and women, may or may not come in this lifetime. The greatest words a believer will ever hear, is when the Lord tells them- "well done, my good and faithful servant". One day God will make all things right. I pray that in the meantime, I will stay faithful to Him, in the midst of the trials that I endure, with health and financial issues. Prospering just in this life, is SO sad. I would much rather suffer here and know that one day because of what Christ did for me, I can live eternally justified by my Savior.

Psalm 21:7 says ¨Why is it that the wicked themselves keep living , Have grown old , also have become superior in wealth¨
It has been a question that has been asked for generations.
There are a few reasons , but primarily
1John 5:19 ¨We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one¨
The wicked one is Satan.-- this 'IS' Satan's world.!
People that follow the way of the world and not Gods way are not restricted by good moral codes or ethics.
They do not feel bad about distorting their tax returns or making business deals that are dishonest or doing business that goes against the righteous principals of God.
..and Satan blesses them for their efforts.
Psalm 37:10 ¨And just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more, and you will certainly give attention to his place , and he will not be¨
Soon Jehovah God (through Jesus) will wipe out all wicked people form the face of the earth., leaving only truly righteous God fearing people.
So , Do not be overly concerned about these wicked people , they are getting their reward now , but it is definitely SHORT LIVED.

The hook goes in deeper each time the lost ride the crest of their waves.Christians are promised tribulation and persecution here on earth.Never are we promised earthly rewards. At times we are given them. But they tend to be a great burden. For the cares of this world naturally for sinful man will pull him away from God.I've seen it many times.Faith is put on the back burner when we coast along on our own.The preachers teaching "name it and claim it" are preaching a prosperity gospel that the Bible calls"another gospel".It has nothing to do with fairness. We are in a spiritual war here, and the more you preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the more spiritual attacks will come your way.Rejoice in them.We are sojourners here.My eyebrows raise when I hear of Christians hitting the jackpot and never having problems at work or with money or their car or their health. These things come on like a tidal wave for spiritual warriors.Staying in God's Word keeps us afloat.[Roman8:28-32].

There are consequences. Every sin has its consequences. But sometimes we can't see that. God is always fair. And wether they pay the penalty now or later they will ultimately have to deal with the consequences of their sin.
But also, the Bible says that "It rains on both the good and the evil" Which at first you may think that this verse means that bad things happen to everyone but actuall. Where this verse is found 'rain' is what the people needed at the time.
So good things happen to both good and bad people. But we shouldn't be concerned with what other people do with their lives. We can only affect our own relationship with God. God will take care of everyone else.

Life is not fair. The Bible clearly states that the sun shines on both the just and the unjust. And it rains upon every man. There are wealthy and healthy nonbelievers and poor and afflicted believers everywhere.
But in the end look:
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Some people do horrible things and yet still have money and shelter while, people who do right and not much wrong get left in the dirt. I personally think that it is to test the people who are doing right and that they only have to deal with material struggles While the people who do horrible things have to deal with more emotional struggles in their lives. (Which are indeed harder struggles than any material struggles... even health and shelter)

It's not fair in the non-Christian's point of view. But as a Christian, you should know that God doesn't regard a good life as one filled with prosperity and success, and neither should you, assuming you are a Christian. A Christian has the best of things when he or she has a great relationship with God. God himself said that a relationship with him defines a successful life. God can give troubles to his followers in order to better their faith. If a person is in trouble and undoubtedly relies on God's help, that is 1. glorifying God and 2. making the person stronger and helping him/her see things through God's eyes.
A person who has material success yet doesn't consider God is going straight to hell. Last time I checked, an eternity is a heck of a lot longer than the eighty-some years we're here on Earth. Don't let it worry you that people who follow the Lord struggle. It's natural and they will find incredible reward in heaven. As for the financially successful, pray for them.

Only, time will tell who is get going throughout the life. Those who suffer will be comforted and blessed. There are lot of testimonies about those who suffered and blessed by God later. When blessings come they will feel sufferings are nothing when compared to that.
Life has many ups and downs, those who are stand still will know the hands of God moving in their life. One has to wait and see. Be watchful of your surrounding and pray for those who are suffering and help them. God will be pleased if you do this.

Life isn't fair. People who look out for themselves and go after what they want are more likely to get it than those who sit around and wait for some god to hand it to them.
