No, lack of evidence and failure to logically provide a reason why there has to be one.

I used to, but then I realised that there was nothing there!
my beliefs are based around you as an individual, not just you everyone.! my belief is that there is no God, but I believe that you can have your God, without religion. religion, based solely on the bible, is the word of Man, not God, It has been used throughout the ages to subjugate your mind. God has been lost in the translation, the church has usurped the word, for greed and power. Jesus never existed, this I am pretty sure of, I do a lot of research on this subject and I have concluded that Jesus is just another way to control. The early christian founders were murderers and con men, you can see this for yourself, by reading about the founders church. release yourself self from their grip and find your own path!
sorry if I have gone over your stipulated number of words, but because you want it short I have not really been able to go through it in detail, plse e-mail me if you want and I will glad to enhance

I don't believe in any of the Gods or Goddesses that have been talked about throughout the ages. Why should I believe in the ones that are being presented to me today. Tomorrow there may be others. In reality it all just seems like wishful thinking.

I don't believe in a "God" per se. I have, for a long time now, believed that the "Bible" was conjured by a group of people who needed a forum to pass on their belief and understanding of what should be perceived as right and wrong. Very valid reasonings and basis for passing on what we consider to be good morals.
The "Bible" should be used for teaching us how to treat each other, or at least a reference point for our understanding of good morals. It just makes common sense to "do unto others as you would have done to you" (or paraphrased if not quoted correctly).
Having said that though, it is very difficult for me to buy into the idea of "God" and everything the Bible depicts as Jesus' acts of miracles. I don't deny the existence of Jesus as having lived during that time. I just don't believe he was the incarnation of "God" on Earth.
I cannot, however, deny that there is a force that seems to bind us all together that I can't explain. I don't have to accept that this force that I believe exists is "God", or the consciousness of "God", but I accept it as a unifying force that causes us to act together as a collective. Each of our contributions furthers our knowledge and advancements, perhaps closer to our ultimate destiny (and destinies may not always be ideal for ours may be our own extinction).
I would like to believe that we can continue to evolve and someday in our distant future find ourselves as we perceive what a god is, eternal life, without disease, and knowledge beyond what we can know today.

I believe in the Universe. It's more wonderous and exotic than any tales written down by bedouins or shepherds. god is usually just a way for people to justify their actions and hatreds.

I believe Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. Jesus never sinned. He humbly came to die for my sins and the sins of the world. He was crucified, buried and resurrected on the 3rd day. No one can earn their way to heaven. It is by his blood that washes away my sins. He offers us the free gift of salvation. He is my personal Lord and Savior, he is my all in all.
