They did a test with mice. They fed them the exact same number of calories, but they spread one of the mice's meals over six instead of three meals. The one who ate its food in six meals stayed trim. The one that ate three meals became overweight.
That said, "skipping a meal a day" (reducing caloric intake), has shown to have health advantages, too. Basically, I suspect it slows down your metabolism, which slows down aging, etc. I think the experiment with mice there had calories reduced by 30%, and there was a corresponding extension to their lives. Some people are already following this type of diet.

properly, i do no longer understand a thank you to cajole them yet, you're magnificent. eating 5-6 small nutrients according to day is extra healthy and it boosts your metabolism. My daughter is virtually 13 and he or she is somewhat healthful and narrow. She would not consume very lots at one time yet, she eats small parts for the period of the day. (that's her selection) lots of persons are going to be "previous college" concerning the full 3 sq. nutrients according to day difficulty although. purely confirm you have become adequate nutrients interior the meals you consume.

it is better to eat 5 smaller meals per day. your metabolism works better and faster when you eat smaller portions more per day. if you eat bigger portions less, your metabolism works harder and if you have a slow metabolism, by the time you eat your 2nd or 3rd meal, your food might not have been digested. which means more food more fat. and eat food with less than 3.0g of fat. its more healther.

you're supposed to have small meals so that way you burn what you eat and your body doesn't get into the habit of getting a big meal and then your body stores the food.

first off, whatever works for you, as long as you are satisfied.
I have heard though, eating 5-6 times a day is the most advantageous.
