If a guy is only after sex then he won't wait. Why wait when you can go down a night club find a drunk girl and have a one night stand? A guy who waits any period of time likes you for more than just sex. You can tell how long by the amount of time he is prepared to wait. The longest I have dated with no sex is three months but I would have gone longer because I enjoyed spending time with the girl I was dating anyway. If you want to have a relationship with no sex then you have to focus on spending quality time with the person and going on dates to interesting places. Guys can be won over without a woman giving out but it takes a bit more effort to keep us interested.

Honestly: Depends, How much attractive is the girl and how much desperate is the guy, sometimes the girl leave some hopes for him, So the guy doesn't wanna give up and waste all of his time and efforts;
Simply there is no rule of the thumb, each guy is different and each situation is different.

I wouldn't waste that much time if the only thing I liked about some girl was to get in her pants. I wouldn't even waste the time it takes to go on a date if all I wanted was sex. If that's all you want or need find a hooker.

i'm not a guy ok...but why would you go out with a girl only for the sex? wow you're an incensitive jerk, maybe if the girl was a whore you'd have better luck but if this girl is a virgin she's not gonna want to give it up to some guy who's counting the days when he can finally do her....

Many guys not too long.if only for the "sex".
There are too many out there that are ready willing and hot to trot just for the asking.
But then the vergin is a prize for some.

It depends on a lot of things but most guys looking to take advantage of women don't take them on dates. They will see you at a party or something and try and "hook up". And if you are thinking about dating one of these guys, I would not recommend it.

Sara it depends on his age, let me just say if he wont wait for you then you should bin him off, if hes just after sex you will lose him just after you let him, if he really loves you he will wait, right time, right place, right mood, dont let him rush you babe, another platitude there are plenty more fish in the sea.

Dude, its all about how long you want to date her. I'd say anywhere from a week to a few months. Once she starts asking for stuff, if you arent ready, drop her.
