My bf used to have gang tattoos all over his hands. When he changed his life and joined the Army 10 years ago, they required him to have those tats removed. John had them lasered off and I cannot even tell anything was ever there. He told me that it hurts about 1000x worse than getting a tattoo. So, yes...it is expensive and very painful, but I have seen firsthand that it works.

I had a coworker whom had lazer surgery to remove her ink (f*ck you on her arm) any way the coloring (purple) I guess is the "hardest" to remove and she had some very light ink left. It was rather hard to see but you could see it.. At least up till 3 months later after that I left the job. I would suggest a consultation with a professional. The do offer more removal methods than just laser- laser is just rated the most affective. Good luck:)

I always wondered that myself...if they actually can remove a tattoo 100% with no marks no nothing i def would get one...haha like my boyfriends name or somethin..but you never can be to sure so u have to make sure it can be removed you know....always better safe then sorry haha...but ya..i seen the girl above said that it hurts...so i would only get a tiny one...

just go in and have them look at it..before you have it done...you really dont have anything to lose...if you hate it that bad...i bet they can remove it easy...it must be small

the only way to get rid of a tattoo is to get laser treatment. and you have to go in for more than five sessions. laser treatment is also more expensive and painful than a tattoo.

I know of one guy that had gotten his removed by cutting it off. another burned it out with cigarettes. both were scared.
They say they can lazar cut or burn them off. but only about 70-95% .
