Nope. Dreams are simply a byproduct of your brain shutting down and opening up different parts of itself in no specific order. Think of it like the lights of the game Simon, times a million. Recurring dreams? Uncommon pattern based shutdowns.

In my own experience of logging and studying my dreams since 1986, I find that they come from my own self, and my own experiences in life, and not from an outside source. Dreams are another language, and another way of talking to your self, and sorting out your life in a state where you see things differently, and have access to different parts of yourself that you don't have during the day. From time to time I have received dreams that seem to offer guidance from an outside source such as guides, or God, but I don't feel that the dreams themselves are being made or controlled by an outside source, they are being made from my own self, but in the dream state I am receptive to outside input and guidance from other sources as well.

i don't think so. study suggests that even animals dream.. cats also go through the REM stage of sleep like human beings.

If so, sorry. But I don't buy that one. But, then I don't
subscribe to the theory of a god, period.
