I try to not drink coffee because I know it is not all that well to drink it. Anyways, I have been trying to focus on my work for the last few days and I can't. However, I just had a cup of coffee and my mind stops wandering around and I actually got much work done. Is there any solution to my caffeine dependency?

Just substitute it with a different drink, try ice water, it will equally wake you up and make you more focused.

actually... if you are use to drinkin coffee, or any other beverages which contain caffein, whether it be in the mornings or at any other particular time of the day continue to do so, but do so in moderation. if you must have one cup go for it, otherwise you'll end up with headaches or feeling completely drained at the end of the day. people may say that drinking coffee or anything with caffein in it is not good for you, but then again so are many other things rite??

Some believe that 2 cups of coffee a day is actually good for you. I can assure you that 2 cups are not bad for you. So enjoy without guilt!! Interesting question. Deserves a star!!

if you really want to stop it... you just have to stop it!!

the only way to stop it is to just cold turkey quit. do it when you have a week or so to be a little out of it. cause thats the only way it will really work, and it sucks and its miserable and it makes it seem like its not worth it. but it is - after a week or two- depending on how addicted you are you will not be dependent on it. i have gone through the withdrawal - believe me, i know how bad it is. ((i was on like... probably close to 20 cups of caffiene, something absolutely ridiculous!! went straight to nothing in a day...)) but it ends, and its actually a lot better afterwards not needing that coffee!

but in all honesty, there's no cutting corners on it. if you have "just one", it doesn't really work. just gotta grit your teeth, suck it up, and get it done.
