32-- Money can't be a deciding factor in who I love, because I haven't ever been given a choice! You love who your heart tells you too. When does money make decisions for you in a relationship? When you are going into something like getting an apartment or a house together, or who is paying for the date etc.. But love? I know a lot of women (myself included) who wish they could have that much controll over their emotions!

18 - currently money doesnt matter, i live on minimam wage and it works for me right now, there for any guy making any money or no money really ( as longa s he didnt sponge off me ) would be fine- however in the future when i want to settle down and have a family money may play a role as my mother says- love is a wonderful thing but it doesnt pay the bills and you cant eat it.

40s-I think it may matter more to older single women. Money isn't everything but I wouldn't want to get involved with someone who couldn't afford to take care of himself and me, too, should I choose not to work, which I probably would not do. I think most women of all ages would not choose to be with a selfish man. 50/50 at least.

20, I wouldn't date a guy just because he has money. but... I have a son and if I thought I might get serious i wouldn't want to date a guy that cant even pay for his own stuff. because I'm not gonna support me, my son, and a guy. so he doesn't have to be rich but it is important he can at least support his self and maybe help me a little. money is a bonus but not required.

Well, I think it should be there, because women are looking for security, but money never lasts, its exremely hard to get and being considered as a voice is very hard for a woman to achieve.
