How stupid are people? Do you really believe a TV show will tell you everything about a subject and without bias? What a bunch of simpletons Americans have become. If another person comes on this site and refers to a tv show, I will bust a gut. Am I the only one who sees the humor in this?

Yes.Likely it is due to the majority of people here being under 13 years old.Plus,the bulk of humanity is so mind-controlled by tv and government schools[there are no real public schools these days] indoctrination,that almost every phrase or idea is an echo of what they were told or heard somewhere.Critical thinking is frowned upon by the PC educrats and leaders of our Age.

Most Americans do NOT begin to realize just how heavily information is filtered by their government and by the corporate media outlets. Actually, it is not funny as it makes for poor decision-making based upon such biased information(ex: look at the percentage of Americans who still believe Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 and thus still believe the war is necessary.).

Pretty much everyone thinks they're an expert on pretty much everything. And when a real expert tells them something they don't like, they invariably lable that expert as "wrong" or even "crazy" without having the first glimmer of expertise in that subject area themselves.
It's not funny to me, its terrifying to me about what ignorant people can do in mass numbers.

Hey, TV is a source of knowledge. Just because it's commercial doesn't mean beneficial knowledge cannot be absorbed. And if you want a comparison; compare TV with that other source of "knowledge" that some Americans think is the inerrent word of God.
