58 inches to join the army, you also have to pass weight requirement also ( im sure you do) it dosent matter wheather you enlist officer or enlisted, they have the same PT requirements.. heres a link, scroll down to the bottom for the female standards

The minimum proper top and weight for women candidate is 152 cm and 40 two kg. in top relatable as much as 5 cms in case of applicants from Nepal, Bhutan, North East, Gorkhas, Assamese and Garhwalis. no,there is not any actual examination interior the call attempt yet for the medical attempt there are actual examination like working a million.7km in 7min.etc

If you want too. Read about Audie Murphy, he was rejected by some parts of the military when he wanted to join up to fight in WW2. because he was only 5' 5" tall. He was accepted by the US Army and went on to be the most decorated soldier in history including receiving the Medal Of Honor. He I think was promoted to Lieutenant before leaving the military and going on to be a western movie star of the 50s.

I believe there is a height requirement to be in the military.
I think it's between 5 foot and 6'8".
