Before, I asked a question asking if there really are Christians who say that they're against popular and secular culture.
Well this time, I'm gonna ask those same Christians about their thoughts on the following things for these things are also a part of popular culture. Attached to them are links that show video samples of what I'm talking about.
1. Anime and Manga

2. RPGs (Role-Playing Games)

3. Popular Movies

What are your thoughts on them?
P.S.
Once again, I will not be accepting non-Christian answers.

Hmm... I am really pleased by most of your answers for they really have a point. However, how can you address the more extreme Christians?
I asked a similar question before and one guy gave the following answer
"...We are not to become involved in the secular "pleasures" but are to be of the same mind that was in Jesus.... Video and Online games, many or should I say most of them are about Violence and killing. these things are not things a Christian should dwell on (read Phillipians 4:8 for what a Christian should think on). Anime and Manga are pretty deeply steeped in the Asian Culture and its pagan rites. They are therefore unacceptable as the Bible condemns such practices. Fantasy Novels, Wel there are some that are good and some evil ones. But by a large I do believe that fantasy novels are dangerous as they can lead a person into other things. Most of them have witchcraft, magic, spells and the like. I personally would not want to spend the money on such trash..."

Well, I didn't look at your examples, so I'm just going to assume the common definition of each. I am culturally conservative, and I am against secularism. But secularism, as I see it, is actually the elimination of religious elements in society. In other words, it is fine to have elements of culture that are not specifically religious. What is not fine is to strip all vestiges of religion from culture. So I don't have a problem with any of the above. I am reading Shonen Jump on my computer in between answers, have an RPG running in real-time on my machine, and I am watching "The Itallian Job" starring Marky Mark.

I particularly dont wish to move by way of the entire hyperlinks however I will let you know this. I feel we are living in an some thing is going tradition. Besides probably the most fundamental of matters (homicide, stealing and youngster molestation) such a lot the whole lot else is up for grabs. I am a huge advise of "to each and every his possess" and I real reside this. However, I feel we now have taken our possess instant gratification and demands, allowed them to trump others demands and we now are in a state of selfishness, greed, and apathy. People can provide me the argument that we do just extra reporting now, that matters arent worse to any extent further than they was once. I speak to ample older men and women to grasp, men and women simply had been exclusive. I dont realize what the battlecry factor is, have a hyperlink?

Considering that Christians represent 2/3 of the US, how can they be against pop culture, when in fact, they are defining it?

honestly, i'd love to say i'm "not of the world" or whatever that term is...but the bottom line is i am, becuasei'm not perfect...i'm a regular college student/cheerleader/athlete wtih a boyfriend and a social life who tries really hard to do whats right biblically...honestly, none of those things offend me...if i didnt like them, i just ignore them, like anyone, christian or not would...
i have alot higher priorities than protesting gay marriage, liberals (i basically am one), and harry potter...in the few moments i'm not being self-absorbed (once again, i'm very human), i'm much more concerned about the kids i see being abused here in america or sold as sex slaves overseas...
my thing is this: if i dont like it or it doesnt go alogn with my faith, i just ignore it, not act like a brat to someone who doesnt have a problem with it...you dont win people over by shoving stuff down their throat

I'm sorry I don't have time to see your sites. Popular culture is not all bad. much of it is. Children are sexualized. People define themselves by money and things owned. We are fat, dumb decadent and happy. we are primed for a fall.
