1. Scientists come from the same world as people who created religion, the difference is that they make regular attempts to understand that world. The religious rely on mysticism and dogma which is high;y unrelated to the world they're in. The fact that they share a world does not give them automatic equal understanding of it.
2. Science is not the same. See point 1.
3. Energy exists. Your point? It could have always existed. Even creation is not proof of a creator, just a creation event. Even if there was a creator, that doesn't mean it wasn't destroyed in the creation event.
4. Aw damn... where do I start on this one?
In chance you have to know all possible outcomes and assign a probability to that outcome. For example I have a die. It has 6 outcomes (1,2,3,4,5,6) with a 0.166~ possibility for each
So what are the other possible outcomes of our solar system?
Is there a 0.999999 chance of "not solar system"? What the hell's "not solar system"?
Or do you mean there's a 0.999999 chance of our solar system being completely different from ours, like some of the other solar systems surrounding other star's we've recently observed?
That would be worse for your argument due to the rule of large numbers. A 0.000001 chance is equal to 1 in a million. Since there's 2 BILLION stars in our galaxy that means there would be 200,000 solar systems just like ours
Of course I'm pretty sure you just made that number up.

If really found this interesting: "scientist are in the same world as people who created religion. The 2 dont know more than the other". Scientist, biologist, ect are dedicated people that study how things work and do their best to provide and answer for them based on their findings. Religion on the other hand was written over thousands of years ago, they needed answers to the unexplainable. It was a time when they didnt even know about microscopic beings. It was obviously a scientist who discovered this.
How can I not believe in the scientific findings, when there is proof?
It's difficult to believe that a man parted an ocean, another walked along side lions and fire, another made a meal for hundreds out of two fish, and ultimately, A woman having a child without having relations???
I mean, come on, we havent seen this happen, have we???

"last time i checked energy does excist[sic] and also science proves the chance of our solar system excisting[sic] is 0.000001."
Don't try to scam me, I doubt you'd know how to check if energy existed or not.
It looks a little weird - on the one hand you're saying science (I'm sure you mean 'scientists') "says energy cant[sic] be created or destoryed[sic]"
But, you don't believe the other stuff scientists suggest cos as a rule the 'god' concept is unscientific and more like the ramblings of little children or senile old men.
By the way, you're the one making childish claims about invisible sky monsters making the universe with the wave of his magic arms.
Imaginary beings don't exist in my life.
I'd much rather accept the logic of science than the absolutely hilarious idea there's a monster in the sky who know everything I say, think and do, 24/7 and tells me that if I don't suck up to me I'm gonna go to hell.
Yeah; that sounds real logical. LOL.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for providing me with cheap laughs.
I don't have cable but my doctor tells me I gotta laugh more cos it's good for my health.
So, on behalf of this old atheist, and I'm sure there are many more, Thank YOU!

"the chance of our solar system excisting is 0.000001"
i have to wonder whether you just made up that number, but i'll play anyway...
the chances of winning a given lottery might be a million to one, but if several million people play it, someone will probably win. there are probably millions of solar systems in our milky way galaxy alone, and as far as anyone can tell, all of them were formed by natural processes. it doesn't seem particularly strange to me that we humans find ourselves in a place that can support our existence. we drew the lucky numbers. no creator is required, although it cannot be ruled out. but then, neither can the flying spaghetti monster...
your question is not very clear. why don't you go and read whatever tract you found this argument in again, or just copy it directly next time.

Lets say there is a God. Why only one planet that we know of?
Here's my theory: Back in the days before science, people would ask questions like why does it rain? Why is the sky blue? Where does thunder and lightning come from? and the easiest answer was God. They also need to set some rules down. Ten commandments solved that problem.
Now does each planet have a God?
Does each solar system have a God?
What religion is right?
If I pick the wrong religion, will I go to Hell?

A. Scientist put down the fact after observations, experimentation and then peer reviewed to have the information passed on.
B. Religious people just dream, write a book and claim he is true. No observations, experimentation and peer reviewed is to be done as doing so equate to believing god is false and it is blasphemous and you go straight to hell.
C. If the chance of our solar system existing is 0.000001 percent, it is too much. Judging from the size of the universe, a you should see another inhabited planet within another solar system nearby based on your 0.000001 estimate.

To me, its all about the scientific method. Science postulates an answer, devises a test to vailidate that answerand then builds on the results. If you apply the scientific method to faith you get zip. Example, you believe God can heal people so you find two sick people, you pray for God to help one, you don't for the other. Do you see a difference, a proof that God exists and helped the one - in general no, you do not. So the scientists says "Okay so God doesn't cure people as a response to prayer". The faithful seems to say "God had other plans for that person" or "God works in mysterious ways". How can you wonder why atheists don't accept the faith side of things. Its frustrating - If it rains, God gave rain to the plants, if its sunny, God gave sunshine to plants, if my life sucks, God is challenging me, if its great, I'm blessed - it all schmecks of dropping your responsibilities or attributing supernatural causes for well understood things. I have Christian friends who think the sun rises cause God makes it do so or wants it to - every day. Me, I look at the rotation of the Earth and am not surprised that every 24 hours another sunrise happens - its pretty explainable. I can hear you now "But in the Bible it tell how God stopped the sun to allow Jopshua to kill a bunch of people." Well, it says lots of stuff in lots of books, so what. Just another reason to doubt the veracity of the Holy Word.

Look this 'chance' of yours can even be less than 0.000001 if there is a new big bang. But since we see the solar system as true , every day so the chance becomes 1 automatically becuz it exists & will exist tomorrow as well.
The creator of yours , where is he/she/it hiding. Since no one has seen it the chance of finding a creator is 0.00000000000000000000000....... (infinite 0s) .....00001
Remember , at present you (the very you ) is the center of the universe.
When you create a painting , is it your creation or it is the creation of the unforseen creator.
Wake up, free your mind from the clutch of the creator.
Those who dared to seek truth, find only
THEMSELVES.

I never made such a claim that there is absolutely no higher power, I simply lack belief in any due to an extraordinary gap of evidence where one would expect there should be some.
Showing that energy has always existed only goes to give more credibility that everything has always existed in one form or another and does not require a creator.
I can not prove that any of the gods are false, including yours or the pagans, or even the fsm.

"science proves the chance of our solar system excisting is 0.000001"
so are you saying our solar system doesn't exists? That made no sense on your part.
"But scientist are in the same world as people who created religion."
ya, last time I checked, we are all on earth, what is the point you are trying to make here?
oh ya, haha, and I noticed the lack of plural form on atheist, why can you guys not use a plural form?
