Are there any ways to communicate with the dead through dreams? I do believe the dead can contact you in your dreams as a friend I lost contact w/ came to me in a dream & I looked him up online & found out he'd died in a car crash & in the dream his face was messed up looking. I would like to find some way to find closure & connect to him again in another dream. This sounds weird i know but if you know anything about contacting the dead in dreams please share your knowledge.

Funny you should ask:) I had a dream this morning of a soulmate who died 2 years ago this coming October. I was wearing a pendant all day yesterday, the stone in the pendant was carved by him. I dreamed this morning, that he was holding me, and we were looking out a window at a sunrise together, it was very nice, and very restful. A few months after my sister died, she contacted a friend of hers in a dream, to let her know that she was ok. I'm sure your friend will be in touch to let you know that he is ok when the time is right. I don't know if wearing the stone that was carved by my friend had anything to do with dreaming about him or not, but if you have a memento with his energy on it, I suppose you could try wearing it, or putting it under your pillow or something. Don't dwell too much on it, though, or you will be unable to relax enough to allow him to contact you. Just work through your grief, and allow him to contact you when the time is right.... He may have some things he needs to do before he can contact you, he has left this plane for another one, and may have to get used to it....

First of all I am very sorry for your loss. I to have lost someone exactly a week ago. On the 13th my best friend died in a Motorcycle Accident. I can relate to everything you are saying. I have had dreams just like this in the past of other people who have passed away. Personally I don't believe they can contact us in our sleep or dream. As much as it would be nice. The real problem is that they are on our minds a lot. We think of them so much that even in our sleep we think of them. I remember after my uncle died last year. I had a dream about a month later that I was at his funeral all over again and he came out of his coffin alive and we all lit up in complete shock. I believed it was real until I woke up. I realized it was my obsession at the time. You begin to think of someone more after they have passed away. The saying is true. You don't know what you got till its gone. And you realize an important piece of your life has just left your life forever.

I haven't found any way to contact my Gran. I think that the ones on the other side contact us when they want (be it in dreams or other). I feel that they know what we are thinking and feeling. They contact us when they feel the need to. Otherwise they are always with us and we will sometimes feel them periodically. I think your friend contacted you to say goodbye. This person will probably always be with you and they know what you want to say. Just be thankful that they contacted you. You both now have this. I know how you feel (wanting to make more contact, but it will only happen if they want it). This person might just had to make peace before moving on.
I learnt after a very long time to move on and just be grateful for the original contact.

Don't listen to these people...especially the ones that just put no to boost their rating..idiots. I'm not sure about how to contact someone trough your dreams but I know they contact us. I've had it happen several times and there is no denying it when it's a visitation. you will know...the colors are brilliant and the dream makes perfect sense. There is no comparison to a regular nonsense dream. Just pray about it before sleep, ask god to let you know the person is OK and you'll be surprised at the answers you receive...other than that...just ignore the nonbelievers...they probably wouldn't know it smacked them in the face...good luck.

If your friend came to you in dream he was telling you he is ok. If he wants to contact you again he will but don't try to contact him. You will be frustrated because if they just passed away they don't always have the energy right away to communicate again, Knowing that he contacted you is something that will be with you for a long time. Just know that he is ok and was just wanting you to know so that you could better handle it.

Go out and buy some calea. Supposely you will have crazy dreams and your suppose to talk and them questions. Shamans in the past believed they were talking to spirits and asking questions about life. Ofcourse it is legal and works, I don't believe it but I like to lucid dream so I take it.

omg i know what you mean...when i was 16 my father died of cancer...and now, especially when i am feeling sad or worried, he is in my dreams!! he is about in every dream i have sometimes i dont even interact with him he is just there, maybe in my house while i am talking to someone else but he is ALWAYs near by!!!!! i usually just think of him alot then he will come to me in a dream..and yes i totally think that you can contact the dead in dreams...i dunno how or why

I m not very sure whether u can or not but this is my experience I loved somebody but due to reasons unknown it just floundered ,i guess i was tooo shy to express myself and he chickened out But i still wanted to know whether he loved me. years later one day in the early hours of the morning I found him also at dawn on the seabeach and he gave me a hug which I almost felt . I LATER FOUND OUT HE WAS NO MORE
