Everything that makes you who you are (your thoughts, memories, emotions, personality, etc.) exists physically in your brain. When your brain stops functioning, everything that is 'you' ceases to exist.

The question of what happens after death can be confusing. The Bible is not explicitly clear on when a person will reach their final eternal destiny. The Bible tells us that after the moment of death, a person is taken to Heaven or Hell based on whether he or she had received Christ as his or her Savior. For believers, after death is to be "away from the body and at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). For unbelievers, after death means everlasting punishment in Hell (Luke 16:22-23).

This is where it can get confusing as to what happens after death. Revelation 20:11-15 describes all those in Hell being cast into the lake of fire. Revelation chapters 21-22 describe a New Heaven and New Earth. Therefore, it seems that until the final resurrection, after death a person resides in a “temporary” Heaven and Hell. A person's eternal destiny will not change, but the precise "location" of a person's eternal destiny will change. At some point after death, believers will be sent to the New Heavens and New Earth (Revelation 21:1). At some point after death, unbelievers will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). These are the final, eternal destinations of all people - based entirely on whether a person had trusted Jesus Christ alone for the salvation of their sins.

Heaven or hell. If you die and you did not died in Christ, that person will go to hell. If a person does died in Christ they will be in Heaven for all eternity. Both are eternal you just don't want to go to hell because that is fire and brimstone burning and never going out and can you say how long is eternity in either case. Reincarnation does not exist and the body goes back to the dust that it was made from but the soul is what reaps the benefits of Heaven or the consequenses of hell. Which will be your choice. Feel free to contact me if you wanted to know furthere details. I will be happy to talk to you.

If energy cannot be destroyed and it only changes form, scientifically, then , similarly you as a conscious being in material body , too, must exist in a different form after death.

By this logic , reincarnation/rebirth is more probable.

Many religions say many things about it but Buddha affirms from his own experience.
When Buddha achieved enlightenment , he saw , as a series of movies (just like in youtube), many many of his rebirths and from them he learnt the truth that :
Anything that is born will die and
anything that dies will be born again.

and

Desire to enjoy in this world is the root cause of reincarnation.

When all desire is removed there is no reincarnation in material body , then his consciousness wakes up in a different realm without 'I' and that is nirvana/moksha/salvation.

You either go to Heaven for a life's review or you go to Hell.

Cremation is probably the best answer. We've managed, through modern embalming methods to ensure that people's corpses never actually even feed worms.

Judgment, God will judge everyone according to what they done. If you have sin then you will be sent to hell for punishment for you sin. God is perfect in justice and must punish sin. However, God provided a way out for us and that is through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ took the punishment for our sin and then rose again to be our mediator to a Holy God. Only through Jesus can we have forgiveness for sin because He is the one who took the punishment for us and rose again defeating death and hell to give us eternal life for those who believe. So, if you want to go to heaven you must believe in Jesus, if you do not you will be judged for your sin and I assure you, you will be judged guilty. God bless.

Yahoo! closes your account after six month of inactivity. Between death and that point it is a real mystery, probably you stop accumulating points and if you ask questions they don't get answered.
