It would be called 'judging another human being', if we were to presume that someone else was either innocent or guilty.
Man was not created to judge another. Man was created to understand the Truth, become that Truth and stand in front of the one that created that Truth in the state of surrender.

We are not meant to save a soul, it is the responsibility of the one that created the soul, to save it.
It's the responsibility of a human being to come to the understanding that yes, life is perishable but the soul is indestructible.
Altering the course of a human soul is beyond the capacity of man to comprehend.

In this case the end does not justify the means, simply because their is no end for that which man calls, the soul!

Yes I would make that sacrifice you propose becuase that's good math and common sense. Its not a true test of ends vs. means. Would you be willing to accept automatic capital punishment with say a 25% error rate on death penalaties if it helped reduce murder rates significantly? Would you permit the government to imprison people without charges or due process for near indefinate periods if it heped fight terrorism? How about if you only thought it would help against terrorism? I would not opt for those scenarios but then I'm not from Texas.

That is a hard one. Of course many would say no but logically it makes sense. Honestly, I'm stuck in the middle but I would probably sacrifice myself as I could never kill another person.

no. i have no issues with those that were killed. but sadly, quite a bit of modern life saving medicine was pioneered on the victims of that war. (The Bayer co. was linked to the infamous Dr. Mengela.) i feel many unknowingly gave their lives to save many more in the future. we have learned of the folly of blind nationalism, the dangers of unchecked power, and how ugly hate can be. it is not my place to prevent mankind from learning from it's mistakes.

Hmmmm No, Because a huge lesson was learned from what happened and if we erased that from history who's to say it wouldn't have happened somewhere else and even worse. So even though it sounds bad, I think that in retrospect we learned a lot more from that horrible event than we would have if it never happened.

No. Only God can save. No one else. If you try to bargain with satan you will lose every time! The innocent you killed may have been the person who saved hundred of millions by bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus.

I don't know. It is an unimaginable mental exercise. IF the situation presented itself in reality (somehow) I do trust that I would reason through the options, and make the choice I could live with.

Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for all souls (including those who died in second world war)

After Jesus one cannot take the sins of other people. Blood of Jesus is enough for forgiveness.

I don't know whether any one in the second world war claimed the blood for forgiveness or not.

If a cheque was given it has to be claimed then only one can get the money.

Ask God that when you meet Him. He will tell you "I already did that, and I saved many more than just the second World War."
