I am a Pastor and I have no problem with a birth control that stops the egg from being fertilized.

Once it is fertilized it is a life.

You will find different beliefs among different Christians. The Bible never specifically says that birth control is sinful per se.
Some Christians believe that you should use no form of birth control. They base their belief on the passage in Genesis. After the Flood God told Noah to go forth and multiply. Some Christians take this as evidence that you should not interfere in God's plan for your family. There are also Old Testament references to not "spilling your seed". This would apply to condoms and the like.
Other Christian, myself included, do not see anything Biblically wrong with some forms of birth control.
There are forms of birth control that would not be allowed scripturally because they murder the fetus. Abortion is one form of birth control that would be considered sinful.
As long as birth control does not kill the unborn child than there is no problem with it biblically.

They get all confused with Hebrew law old testament stuff. Don't spill your seed upon the ground and all of that. It was against Jewish law for a man to 'pull out' therefore they interpret that to mean it shouldn't be deposited in a condom and thrown away either... and then women can't use birth control (really because it is a way to control women) because they say that it interferes with the miracle of conception or somesuch. Anyway, it is funny because they pick and choose from the old testament what they will follow. I don't see any good Christians turning down bacon these days....

Some? It used to be ALL Christians. Now, the Catholic Church stands virtually alone. The Church believes that Truth doesn't change as the whims of modern society changes. In the last 100 years, non-Catholic Christians have strayed from God's Word.

While I am Catholic, I do struggle with some of the teachings. I think most Catholics do.

Different Christians object to different kinds of birth control for different reason. The objection I'm most familiar with are methods that cause abortions, like the morning after pill. They are against that method of birth control for the same reason they are against abortion--it takes the life of an innocent human being without proper justification.

Despite being a confirmed Christian I think all Christianity is bullshit. I'm sure I'll be shot down for this, but procreation is a gift from the lord and as such cheating it would go against the church. Don't believe the bull.

It is if it not used for health reasons. Having children is apart of God's plan for us but, if you are having sex outside of marriage and don't want to get pregnant so you use birth control, that is a sin. If you are married and using it, I believe that is a sin too because if God wants a couple to have children then they need to realize that God will make it happen. Regardless of the situation.

Yeah, some folks believe that the only purpose for sex should be procreation. Like it's a sin to have sex for pleasure. Seems pretty loco to me. They also believe masturbation is a sin for the same reason.

I had a priest tell my former roommate one time that if he was GOING to have sex, he should use protection. But that he didn't particularly like either. Which is funny, cuz it kinda means that if you break one rule, he wants you to break two. But my roommate refused to break two rules. I guess that minimized his sinning or something. Seems pretty stupid all around if you ask me.

I don't, but the way I understand it, those that do believe that sex is procreational not recreational. That by interfering with the natural consequences of sex, you are interfering with the will of God in the name of your own sexual desires (using birth control allows you to enjoy sex while trying to eliminate God's "right" to create life from the act of sex).

I believe that someone say " whenever you have the intention having sex, it is to create a child" ; therefore, that fact alone indicates that you should accept the responsibilities of your own actions without any refusal. In addition, someone should think twice about their actions before they consider doing it!!!! REMEMBER THAT POINT, which I told you!!!!
