Yes there have been dozens of deaths from bein tazed - some of them even pregnant women if you can believe that. But hey thats what police business is all about. The cops really dont care so you have to find a way to avoid them or expose them. They will kill you for their pay check and dont ever foget that. If you dont believe me on police brutality, please check out the LA story in my source where the SWAT team blasted a baby to get their target. Sad but true and yes tazers can kill.

From what I have learned, most likely not. The type of electrisity is all wrong to stop the heart. And yes it does "shut down" your body movements by causing all your muscles to contract at the same time. However all those tyoe weapons are called "less than leathal" for a reason. It has happend, but I have no doubt they would of died if they weren't tazed

A tazer is a less than lethal weapon but used improperly it is possible for someone to die from it's use. generally you would have to already have heart problems or something similar. All police officers who use tazers have been shot with them to understand the affect it has on a subject. It causes involuntary convulsions in your muscles which is what makes you fall down, actually the opposite of shutting down your movement.

many people have died from being tazed. It doesn't necessarily shut down body movements, but it does interfere with the electrical signals being sent to the brain which can cause people to seize up or to convulse.

Yes. If the shock is strong enough, it can kill the nerves in your body. It can also merely paralyze you, or just knock you out. There have been some cases of heart attack but those are only under special conditions such as the subject has a history of medical disorders. Other cases can be that they are extremely wet or wearing metal. this includes metal tattoos...
However, tasers were designed not to create such a strong shock but sometimes, there are errors in the manufacturing stages or because of tampering.

About a month ago, in Denver, a middle-aged man was tazed.
Before the day had finished, he died.
