Good question.
For religious people, they tend to think that since science can't prove something that must mean God is responsible for it. It's how religion got started in the first place. Back before people understood fire, they probably thought since it came from the sky (lightning) that there must be someone up there throwing it at them. Same thing with rain and the sun. They just don't understand how we can put our faith in something that can't be proven, even though that's what they're doing themselves (the Christians that ask us the sorts of questions you're refering to anyway).

Just like you expect us to have all the answers. Also you have faith just as much as I do that the answer does exist. What proof is there that cancer has a cure? None, you take it on faith that there is an answer to be found.
Just because God is not the only possible answer does not mean he is not a possible answer, when you will admit that then I will stop expecting you to have the perfect correct answer for every question.

The same time you realize christians don't have all the answers as well. You do not have all the answers yet stick to your belief, I do the same, I don't know everything about the bible, and never will, but I believe in it whole-heartedly. You don't believe God is the answer I do, respect my belief in that, because I respect your choice. As for base your beliefs in proof, if there are not all the answers for your proof how is it proof? You have faith in science that its true, just the same as me having faith in my Lord.

Another great question, that was posted on here was "how can we believe we developed from the monkey?", well my answer to that is while the embryo is developing into the fetus, it has a tail that corresponds identically to that of a Rhesus monkey, and that is why many of us have the RH factor in our blood type. That to me is more believable...
I cannot yet figure out how we could have risen from the ground? or better yet, how woman was created from a man's rib, then why is our rib cage a complete set???

Well, quite honestly, I feel that atheists ask far far more questions of Christians than vice versa. I do not have a problem with this... because I know that there are absolutely no flaws with Christianity despite peoples' efforts to find them. But from a human standpoint and from curiosity, I like to ask questions of atheists as well to find out why they believe what they do. While they might not be open-minded, I can at least learn more about them to help future people that might be.

Because they're so desperate to prove us wrong. They think that enforces the truth of the bible. Yet stories in the bible have been shown to be flawed.

Since they believe their 'good book' has the answers to everything, they expect Atheists should also have all the answers.

And then we ask them a question, say, about walking on water, and they call it a "miracle".
Nice question. I know that I'll never know everyting that there is to be known, but this does not make me stupid.
