You have a good friend who you are meeting for the first time that you meet on the internet and want to meet for dinner at a semi casual place. How do you dress and how do you want them to dress.

They would want to dress nice,nothing over the top.You are both making a first impression and the first impression,always sticks.I would probably wear a skirt and a nice top,dress shoes.he could wear khaki's and a nice shirt.

I would dress casual to semi-casual. If you wear jeans then the other person wears jeans, etc. Nothing too fancy, yet don't be a slob.

well, even though its semi casual, u still wanna look presentable, id go with a button up shirt, tucked in with some slacks (NOT a suit, but somethin nice) and either some decent shoes or clean looking tennis shoes. id expect her to wear either nice capris or leans, with a nice shirt or blouse, straightened hair and a little makeup (just to show that she likes u enough to make herself pretty for u)

you dress semi casually and how they dress does not really matter --- you are just so pleased to see them
