Seems like the day is still 24 hours long and an hour is still sixty minutes and while science and technology allowed us to do more, the time stayed the same. People used to enjoy bus rides, now people work with their computers while riding the bus.Seems like the hurrier you get the behinder you end up.

on the contrary, people are more slave to time. because of cars, people are expected to arrive early, because of computers, people are expected to do more work, etc.

I would say that advancement in science and technology has allowed us more time, but not for leisure. We choose to fill that time with everything BUT leisure, working harder, longer, and doing much more stressful things when we get off of work, just because society demands it of us. It is a nice thought that technology would make our lives easier. The fact of the matter is, that it just frees up more time for other stuff we don't want to do either! :-)

Just my 2 cents

:-)
