I was at the SCCA runoffs one year and some folks I was sitting by said that they heard that SPEED was going to turn into the NASCAR / reality channel in a few years. I told them "no way". I sure was wrong about that.
I guess SPEEDS programmers think we only like NASCAR crap or something like that.
I miss many race series that they used to show.
I miss the original 2 wheel Tuesday.
Sure they show other racing,( I know because that is the only time I watch the lame channel ) but it's nothing like it was 6 years ago.
If we are lucky some of these other channels will pick up on the WRC and some of the other series that SPEED feels they don't need anymore. ESPN was once a great one for that and now that they have returned to racing maybe there might be some hope they will step up there race programing.
Reminds me of the way MTV doesn't show music video's any more. Don't watch that either.

At the moment, the WRC is really boring. The same people are winning, and the FIA is favouring the Poms. We don't need Rally Ireland. We need the good ol' Safari Rally in Kenya back on the calendar.
I've heard of the WRC, and here in Australia, we get excellent TV coverage of the WRC. It's fun to watch, but you need to watch the right rally to have fun.

Rally rocks! I think of it as the best driving ever.
Kurt has bought the rights to WRC inside the States. Check out his web page for WRC online and for coverage listings. He does cover the WRC on his online show.

ESPN2 will be covering the Rally America championship this year if you're interested in the US series. Go here for listings:

WRC is the most interesting and challenging style of competitive racing in my opinion.

I swear, for pure excitement in racing, this is one of the best things to watch. I never missed it when it was carried on speed and I wore out a wheel playing Colin McRae rally on my PC... for a while I was more into rally than I was into open wheel racing.
It is a shame Speed doesn't cover it anymore.
I always wished Schumacher had the guts to have taken on McRae when McRae became the winningest rally driver and asked Schumi to have a race-off with him in rally cars and F1 cars.
Great drivers in WRC.

I've never heard of it. I Googled it to find it's the world rally championship. I have seen and heard of rally.
There can never be too much race coverage of any motorsports events so I'm all for bringing it here.
