1 egg, 1/2 cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon (or more if you'd like), 1/2 tsp. of vanilla, a dash of salt.
mix all ingredients together, dip one piece of bread at a time, and place into a greased or buttered pan.
that mixture will make enough for 4-6 slices of bread

You really don't need to measure. (Is there actually anyone in the world that makes French Toast from a recipe?) Just beat an egg or two with a fork and add some milk. Cinnamon is optional. Dip bread and fry in butter. If you run out of batter, and you aren't done, then make some more.
Historical note: French toast has been eaten in Europe since the middle ages at least. In England it was known by the French name "Pain Perdu", or lost bread. The idea was that it is bread which has lost its identity.

with a fork, combine the following in a shallow bowl:
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
4 tsp of sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
dip slices of bread (day old french bread that's a little hard is best, but regulars stuff will work too) in egg mixture and fry in pan over medium high heat in 1 tbsp butter. sprinkle with a little bit of powdered sugar when done.
you can make the baked version by triple-ing the recipe and pouring the egg mixture over bread layered in a casserole dish. chop up 3 tbsp butter and sprinkle over top of casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. take out of the fridge and let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking at 350 degrees for an hour. adding fruit or berries and sprinkling them with 2 tbsp sugar makes the baked version extra special.

You mix together in a bowl eggs (maybe a bit of milk if you want it to be supple) and cinnamon/spices, a little bit of sugar and maybe a dash of salt. You dip the bread in the mixture, soaking it if you want it to be flavorful but letting the egg drip off a bit before putting it on the pan so you don't get eggy bread. Then let it sizzle in the pan, flipping it over until done. Experiment with different ratios to the recipe because everyone has different tastes.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMHK4
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

My simple basic French Toast is.....
2 eggs beaten
3 Tbls milk
Cinnamon and sugar (optional)Sprinkle on toast after cooking. or put in egg mixture. Maple syrup is awesome on top of it too, along with either sugar mixture.
Powdered Sugar( confectioners sugar)
Or during the holidays just dip your bread in some good eggnog, if you like it, then sprinkle with some powered sugar, that makes some AWESOME french toast during Christmas. Hope I helped!

2 eggs, about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of milk. some cinnamon, some sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. crack eggs, add sugar and cinnamon and mix, then add milk and vanilla, heat a few pats of butter in a fry pan.....place a slice of bread in this mixture and flip over to coat both sides ( you can use cinnamon/raisin bread if you have it, if not no prob). place in pan, when browned, flip when browned on both sides remove, you probably can cook 2 at a time......add butter and syrup or whatever you like and serve.....

Milk, Egg, Sugar, Cinnamon...mix all ingredients together...I don't know amounts because we just do to taste. Dip both sides of bread in mix and toast in greased pan. Top with syrup and enjoy!

All the recipes I have seen entered so far sound great, but they are missing a key ingredient: a small dash of nutmeg would really make those recipes rock.
