My girlfriend and i are lesbians and have been dating for 4 mths... will be 5 months on sept 15. We live in NYC. I want to take her on a getaway... nothing huge. maybe a one day trip or weekend trip. I want it to be unforgettable and somewhat romantic. I am 20 and she is 33. any suggestions?

Man, isn't NYC already romantic? LOL but if you're looking for something more quiet:
Although you could just rent out a REALLY NICE two-night stay at a hotel and go to a fancy restaurant. Nothing is better than a really romantic restaurant and a relaxing hotel to just the two of you <3.
Ithaca, NY which is like NORTHER is really pretty and you could go to a Winery-- but you're underage... but it's very scenic and quiet.
I live in CA, and if you're willing to fly here, San Francisco and Napa Valley is really beautiful and has a lot of great Wineries and Restaurants.

Ok...to the first answer, you do not have to be "gay" to understand what a romantic getaway is, its not like gay people don't enjoy the same things as everyone else.
I suggest you find like a cabin you can rent for the weekend and just spend time with each other, hanging out, talking, maybe fishing. Just time for the 2 of you.

boston day trips are alwayss fun and the atmosphere is always different.
go camping for a niight maybe and just have some alone time.
