I have a break out on my arm and it itches. What can I do to make it go away?

I had it for three days now.
I try not to scratch because I see it scars a little.

I don't have a tattoo or anything. I had this hair product in my hand, then my arm began to itch, I scratched it and the hair product got onto my arm. Instead of washing it off, I just wiped it off with a towel. The next day I had these little bumps that itch and it seems as the days go by it gets a little worse.

you were likely allergic to whatever it was. try not to scratch and take some benadryl (25-50 mg) as the directions state and also you can put some hydrocortizone cream on it to help with itching. or you can put an ice pack on it if it is really bothering you. i have breakouts like that often because of weird allergies to random things. it may take up to 5 days to go away depending on the severity of your allergy.
good luck... no scratching!!!

Is this tattoo related or not? You never said anything about whether you got a tattoo or not.....the only thing I can say is to not scratch it or touch it and wash with cool water to help calm down the itching...for now.
